Hi guys, novice question here. My daughter has expressed an interest in the match so i bought a couple of tickets last night. They're is pretty slim pickings now (which is good) but managed to find 3 together so bought them without a second thought.... My 3am thought however, was that ive bought them in the lower tier of the cobbold, right below where the away fans would normally sit... Now, with all the upper tiers closed for this match, im wondering if ive managed to buy where the away fans may be situated? I cant imagine there'd be loads, but it could be why there were ample seats... Any thoughts? Chesers
TBH, id rather see the news that KM has signed an extension... Ok, has plenty of time left, but you suddenly find we have a good start next year then lower end prem sacking in jan... Look at the speculation now after 1 good season...
If nothing changes, then there us no dire 'need' to...but if someone better comes avaliable, then shuffling the pack cant hurt...or if something changes. For example, if TJJ gets recalled for whatever reason... An offer comes in for someone like jackson...?
Tbh, when he joined i did wonder if it was a kind of "look who we have sitting in the shadows" kind of thing to put on presure on him... Didnt actually belive it though ...
Its a funny phrase really... These players are spending nearly every day together, training, laughing, joking, eating... I bet they socialise after training... They are profesionals...
How many people went to the park after school, picked teams out of all the random people there, then played the best football of your life up to that point..?
Ok, i believe players need time. I genuinly do. But this idea of gelling... Its not like they only ever see each other for 90mins on a Saturday..
This isnt a wingy post btw, related to any performance or lack of, just a general point...
As ive said elsewhere. All this spending power is getting a bit embarrassing, but in a good way, like when you wearing speedos and everyone realises you have a huge 'set of keys'
Eveyone always starts with the cobbold, and i get that, its the smallest of the sides... It may be big, but for its size it doesnt have a huge capacity and is quite inefficient. Personally I would build the pioneer/britannia /coop (whatever tge hell its called now) Its a real opportunity for a statement, loads of room behind to incorporate function rooms /shops as part if etc... Could even have it half built before demolition... See liverpool
Cobbold is always going to be hassle regarding the road which will increase £££, maybe leave it till after the champions league...
So, do any of our new signings look like captain material, or are we expecting a war tawn CB to come in and take the armband? Has any of them captained before..? Or does Nowood take your fancy...
