Jack Marriot told he can leave Posh in January 11:41 - Dec 29 with 3106 viewscbower

As per EADT. He is 28 and certainly scores goals. Has Championship experience. Doesn't really enthuse me but worth a mention.

Can't see him being on our list of targets tbh, although he certainly knows where the net is. Wrong kind of striker for the way we play IMO.

He looked pretty hopeless against us tbh, like a player who's lost his spark for the game.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

If you recall Town released him without giving him a chance so I doubt he’d want to come to a place which wasted his talent m, set his career back years and won’t give him game time. Plus he’s got what is known as an attitude problem

Other than 2018 he's been pretty poor everywhere. No thank you.

One of those where with hindsight Mick was probably right. 1.5 good seasons other than that an average L1 striker.

I think he’d do a job deputising for Ladapo and comes alive when the ball is in the box but think there has been attitude issues over his career.

Wouldn’t be someone you rush out to get at start of the month but if window drags on he’d certainly improve our options from where they are now

For me this announcement signals that Posh will not be willing to sell JCH not that I want him anyway or Marriott for that matter.

He'll go to whoever is paying him the most money, on the longest contract, which works best for his family. If we wanted him we could get him. I doubt we do though.

‘Told he can leave’….yeah, no thanks.

We probably want players whose teams desperately want them to stay.

He would have been a firm target for us if Evans had still owned the club. Rejects, injury-prones, players unwanted at their clubs ..... TWTD !

We do if they are playing at a higher level than League One.

Ross Stewart from Sunderland , for example. Would probably be a signing that matches the ambition of Ashton & KMc.

Wishful thinking on my part but do believe the powers that be are aiming a lot higher than we, as fans, dare.

Well I know a close family member of his, and can tell you that just after he left she told me that he had no hard feelings to either ITFC or Mick, and was grateful for opportunities to go out on loan and then that the Club weren't stupid when he wanted to move.

Sounds odd. I thought his contract wasn't renewed and he was released.

Spoken to a few guys today about this and it seems he's the highest earner and they want him off the books, Posh only play one upfront through the middle most of the time so he isn't getting enough game time, he probably wants more.
One lad who knows his stuff in my book said he's still the best finisher at the Club and he could be just what you(us!)need...

The Club could have offered a contract on the same terms and would then have been entitled to compensation if he joined another team instead. Jack felt he was fairly treated because they didn't stand in his way by doing that.

Just what I was told. Was replying to the biggest troll on the site who said that, basically, Jack hated ITFC because he was let go, when I have been told the opposite.
