Leeds v Southampton could be a cracking game.

Hopefully leeds lose next two and we win at Hull for promotion tho :)

My thinking. Forget game changers let's have game finishes for these games.

Get at Hull with a mix of flair. Pace and a target uptop who when fit Is a prem experienced striker.


Then.. if and when ahead second half. You can then bring on ball holders like hirst. Broadhead. With Jackson being able to replace burns and still have that pace for an out ball.

If drawing and wanting to push. You've got Al hamadi. Chaplin to introduce instead. Etc etc.

Serious question as I've never seen it happen before.


What if going into that game both sides need just a draw to achieve promotion/stay up...

Is there a minimal number of erm attacking attempts you have to make for the game not to be seen as a fix. As surely neither side would want to risk and attack incase in lead to a goal at the other end...

I mean how does the league ensure its a fair game. Or can both sides literally just pass the ball to each other for 90 minutes.

No idea how the game went as been out today. Just got in the car and checked up.

Usually I bemoan a non win. Hut you know when you see the results others are getting. You sit back and thick about our minimal squad depth. The injuries etc

Two go two unbeaten again following the nodge result with all the natural thoughts that no doubt go through players minds.. it's a fantastic effort.


Heres to 2 weeks. Get some rest. Enjoy some family time and let's go get those wins on the road.

Think it was known but its still a farce.

Prem should retract their parachute payments. Ban them from future parachute payments and deduct 20 points for 2025/2026.

But must say with complete respect that 2nd half was pathetic. For a side who could have gone top 3 points on leeds we had no tempo. No drive.
High energy KM said. It was the complete opposite again.

I'm actually more annoyed tonight than I was v norwich. The 3 points were there for the taking. We were just so so poor with no creativity in that 2nd half.

George is giving me scares sometimes with the ball but it's been OK.

Clearly should be ahead but feel we need to up the tempo abit 2nd half. Some excellent moves but think this is a game we shouldn't not be getting 3 points from.

I reckon there has to be a few changes.
A fully fit lineup picks itself.. but we've no clue who's fit or not who's poorly who's injured.

We need at least one of Chaplin or broadhead to be on it. If one is we can manage with the other having an average game but when both are bad we lose our threat.
Right side.. massive decision for KM
Hutchinson. Not been the same. But I think that's more down to partner than himself. He needs clarkes overlaps. Without them he's got 2 defenders blocking his byline choice or one blocking his invert choice so this is key.
Uptop. Guess it will be moore.

Big big game. At home. I think we will treat both games like we went into the exeter game last season. Get at them. Get some goals get the win. Sub and get ready for next game.

Watford will be tough but if we are on it. We can take the game to anyone.

Moore. The fact he played today shows KM doesn't trust Al hamadi to start so I'm going Moore again.

I'm caught between sarmiento and broadhead. Sarmiento hasn't been great from starts. Broadhead. You don't know what version we will get..

Chaplin.. just isn't effective at present might need a rest.

But KM. Sorry to say got it wrong today.
Poor selection and imo not a side to hurt norwichs weak points.

We don't know how today's games will go and this maybe the result that puts us into playoffs.. but if we do he needs to really really think how he got today wrong.
