NFL Fans - Paddy Power
at 16:14 19 Sep 2019
For any NFL fans with a PP account they are doing free entry fantasy football games on Thursdays and Sundays. Some decent prizes as well as smaller prizes. I've won £10 on each of the Sunday ones so far.
The small stakes paid ones are worth doing as well if you know your stuff. I've paid out £4 in stakes and won £45 back so far.

Are we excited then people? Thank god it's back, and on an international week as well it's even better. Anyone staying up Thursday to watch it?
Feel feel to post your usual Facters but I won't respond
This won't be popular - the fans (collectively) were poor tonight

I'm not talking about the lack of vocal support from the SBR lower although I did find it interesting that it suddenly occurred to me around the hour mark that I didn't remember them singing at all.
I'm talking about the impatience of fans all around the ground when the defence dared pass it between themselves more than twice. I realise it's frustrating not going forward, especially at 0-1 but all this did was make the player with the ball panic and lump it forward. This was especially noticeable with Kenlock and Donacien who seemed to get about half a second on the ball before the fans laid into them. I realise not everyone does it but enough do for it to be a noticeable trend. What does it achieve other than a return to aimless long balls which people dislike?
We have some young players, some new players and have started the season well. I can't see why people are so quick to get on the players' backs. Is it because it was Wimbledon and people expected us to just walk over them?
Just an observation. I'm far from a super fan but I just don't see the logic in what was happening.
Who is planning on going to the Spurs U21 game?
at 15:22 14 Aug 2019
In theory I would quite like to boycott it in protest at U21 teams being included but I also quite like games like that where you can see a mixture of Town reserves and youngsters in a game which isn’t that important.
Are you going? Boycotting? Not going for other reasons?

I know the first round of the league cup is a bit of a lottery but there are some reasonable prices out there IMO and it's good for a small fun bet.
Leeds, Swansea, Derby win and Luton/Ipswich over 1.5 goals 4.33
Forest, Leeds, Celtic, Derby, Accrington, Bradford, Swansea and Ipswich/draw double chance 184.23
How about you?
Thoughts on the game/the club
at 19:56 10 Aug 2019
Really enjoyed being back in the stands for this game. Thought we played very well firest half. Second was much more balanced and you could see their goal coming. Not sure if any of our three penalty shouts were penalties. I couldn't really see what happened for their goal either.
I was impressed with Donacien, Woolf and Downes.
Judge was pretty poor but i'm sure he'll settle down after missing a chunk of pre season. Norwood was hit and miss but i'm sure he will settle in and do well.
Restricted Sunderland to one shot on target. Really decent performance.
The crowd today just shows what this club could be. For all the super fans who get annoyed with people wanting more from the club, I think they are missing the point. No one is demanding Evans spend £30m every summer, people just want to see the club have some direction and leadership and that is what Lambert has provided. MM was a good manager but he was all too happy to have us fighting for 15th each year while Evans says we're competitive. This club deserves so much more. Not necessarily even promotion, the club and the fans deserve some direction, some sort of plan and someone with the slightest idea of how to bring everyone together.
It was so nice to realise, that as far as we've fallen, we can rise again. Someday. Somehow. Sometime.

Who will finish bottom of the Prem?
at 15:38 9 Aug 2019
Had a £5 free bet to use on this market and took ages to decide who to bet on. Tempting to go with Norwich but they probably won't finish bottom. I expect Sheff U to survive and Villa to do well. In the end I went for Southampton. Who would you have gone for?
