Got nothing against proper quality ex players getting a ticket, like KD, getting a ticket - he rolled up to game with 1 mate from what I saw. But from where I sat on Monday all the executive area stewards where going up there with their wife/son/daughter and if be totally fùcked off if I was on 27 points and didn’t get one.
Full of day trippers when people spend fortunes following us to get points and 20% there had 0 points |  |

Yep nonsense I thought.
Very quiet. Rows of fans not even trying to get any sort of atmosphere going. Smiling and laughing when we were losing. My row was full of people I’d never seen before (yes I don’t know every town fan) but I’ve been to enough games to recognise faces.
Should we have to go back there. And god forbid we do. Town have to do that better. Not fair on fans who spend hundreds of pounds following us all round the country. |  |

Got no issue with a handful of ex players getting tickets, or Fabio Wardley as he is has strong links to the club, but giving 400 tickets away to people who would never usually make away trips is ridiculous. Not a Town fan as you know and I've no idea whether NCFC do similar but i would be furious if we did this for our trip to Ipswich. Its all about allocation and if you had say 4k tickets then 400 isn't quite so bad. With the 2k allocation then you need all the really vociferous fans you can get. | | | |

Sunderland's owner got a lot of grief for all of the NUFC branding in their cup game. For me, this is a misjudgement on a larger scale than that.
It's the biggest game of our season, priority should have been to a) the loyal fans and b) the team who needed the best possible support. Using it as a corporate back slapping exercise is an awful decision. | |
