Ali Al Hamadi on 13:26 - Jan 25 with 2513 views | Herbivore | I'd be happy with this. It's a jump up for sure but he's been tearing up League 2 of late and looks too good for that level, clearly scope for development as well.

About 1000 people have me on ignore, so the likelyhood of a club seeing my posts and signing him instead is quite slim. lol

Ali Al Hamadi on 13:17 - Jan 25 by TRUE_BLUE123 | He is a vastly superior football player to Ahadme. He plays in league 2 now. but he's far better than a league 2 footballer. |
I prefer it over someone like Gallagher to be honest. I would rather we invest in a player who may have a higher ceiling and with time on his side for us to develop. It certainly is a heck of a step up vs. anything he's known before, but if the recruitment team have reasons to believe he has the attributes then it's good enough for me.
Ali Al Hamadi on 13:43 - Jan 25 with 2194 views | OldFart71 | Would say this deal is pretty much done, don't see Watson spilling the beans if we have just started negotiations as things are much tighter coming out of PR than previously.

I think we'd almost certainly look to do both, wouldn't we? We've always been after two strikers and ideally you don't want to chuck all that immediate pressure on a guy just up from League Two. The model for this kind of transfer is Brandon Thomas-Asante at West Brom and he was an impact sub for them for a good long while. [Post edited 25 Jan 14:01]

I think that's the ideal scenario. Invest a fee in someone of Al-Hamadi's profile, and perhaps a loan move for someone a little less wet behind the ears and knows their way around the Championship. Who that is I have though no idea as it seems like slim pickings.
Ali Al Hamadi on 13:49 - Jan 25 with 2074 views | Parky | Good luck to the commentator if he ever plays with Ahadme. FWIW, I like the look of this!
Ali Al Hamadi on 13:49 - Jan 25 with 2062 views | BlueBoots | Bonus of not having to lose anyone from the squad to make room for him too, as he was Under-21 at the start of last year; with Scarlett and Ladapo gone and Hirst unlikely to be back anytime soon, you'd think we'd be signing a more experienced No.9 as well as him (if it goes through) [Post edited 25 Jan 14:03]

Agree with this - I would imagine this would be the two of them - Gallagher the ready made starting option, and Al-Hamadi being the project. I like both more than Moore

I think people are massively overplaying the extent to which the club ask the media not to report certain deals.

Just based on what is seen and when, apart from reported reports of reports, it's very rare you get any direct news from local media as in exclusives about town links, where the signing doesnt happen an hour or so later.

I agree, plenty of good examples of mobility and pressing in there which is a positive. What you don't see so much of is him bringing other players into things, which is not to say he doesn't do that but the video doesn't really show much of it. Overall though his mobility and pressing looks just right fit for us, and I am sure KMcK will bring on the rest of his game.
