Dyer is wasted as a full-back or even wing-back. Take Bent out and put KD in behind Mariner in a free role.

I couldn't think of a left back which is why I put Mills there and shoehorned Dyer in, but like that better.

Cresswell remains the only England international that I've beaten on Fifa (and he had to do two shots of rum as punishment which made him throw up).

When Jackie Milburn signed Thorburn and it was pointed out how many goals he had conceded for Rath Rovers the previous season, he replied that it was not the goalkeeper it was the defence in front of him.

Then Jackie Milburn signed the centre half Jack Bolton, from Raith Rovers.

Nope, he got picked for a squad whilst with us, can't remember for which game. Him and Wrighty got their first call up at the same time whilst we were in Division one. I recall all the consternation amongst 5 live callers, along the lines of 'who?' and 'maybe the keeper, but not that other one'
