|Previously "linked with"|
at 15:29 14 Aug 2019
I've just run my eye down those we have been "linked with" in this window. By linked, I don't mean "def info" or Twitter, but definite mentions from Phil or Stuart Watson or a nationals that carried the story more than once.
Looking at a dozen or so who moved elsewhere e.g. Washington, Mayor, Liam Kelly among others, I note that only Christy Pym (to Peterboro) has moved to what might reasonably be termed a comparable club to us at this moment. Four have moved to the Champ, which means that we were probably never a realistic choice, if indeed we did have interest. Two have moved to L2, Washington to Scottish Prem, Dominic Ball to New Zealand.
I don't have any conclusions, but it does seem strange that of those that perhaps got near to being made public so few, judging by the hindsight of where they've ended up, seem to have been likely subjects for us to pursue.

It's a real thing. Last night in Scotland it garnered attendances between 178 and 551.
Reminded me of the ZDS Cup which, my son being the right age back then, was known in the family as the Zoids Cup - who remembers Zoids?
What other splendidly named, but poorly thought of cups have there been?

Donacien taken off and Skuse at RB while Emmanuel continues on the bench - not looking too good for Josh.

I know that the Championship transfer window closes on Aug 8th while L1 remains open. Does that prevent a Championship club from selling to L1 club after that date? I assume it does, but can anyone confirm that for definite?

|Not perhaps such a big squad?|
at 23:08 20 May 2019
Although, as various posters have totted it up today, inc Phil, we currently have a squad of 34 it seems to me that, judging by Lambert's preferences so far, only 17 could really be in line for an extended spell if the season were starting today, these being:
Bartosz BIALKOWSKI or HOLY
Freddie would likely not be ready, and Donacien an unlikely pick.

Norwich City's promotion to the Premier League caps one of the club's "greatest ever seasons".
Isn't that so true, Chris.

Town have finally dropped through the beckoning trapdoor – but who to blame? Rev Evans with the peeling candlestick? Colonel McCarthy with the fraying rope? Captain Keane with the poisoned dart? Professor Paul with his own interpretation of chaos theory?
