Been told he’s picked up an injury and is going to be out for about 6 months.

Will be a huge miss for us.

Huge blow if that's true. Edmundson and Burgess probably isn't a bad option against a physical Wycombe, but Woolfie is so vital to our play that it's a big blow. Especially with JD showing signs of injury. I still think Keogh has a role to play this season, this could well be his opportunity. If we're looking for a positive.

Enduringly lovable, intelligent and thunderingly exquisite.

If it is true, we'll surely be looking to sign a CB in January.

Don't feel comfortable relying on Keogh for very long.

I’m not sure if Edmundson was just left out of the squad for the Peterborough game, but if he’s fit, I think that central position is probably his strongest. If not, it’ll almost certainly be Keogh.

Same. I think we've perhaps got Keogh a year too late.

I think we'll probably want 4 options for those 2 roles so yes I would imagine you're right and we would look to bring someone in if true. But I like Keogh, have a bit of sympathy for him having had so few minutes and then coming on so late in games.

That would be disappointing, but think we've got plenty of cover there with Edmundson, Keogh and no doubt Leigh can play there as well.

Probably the one position where we've stayed relatively injury free on this season.

IF this is true, we should go and sign Ronnie Edward’s from Peterborough.

As much as I would love that, Peterborough were rejecting £4m offers from Crystal Palace in the summer, IIRC.

If this is true that is a huge loss. I dont think Edmundson/Keogh are bad by any means, but woolfy is so vital to how we play. We aren't very lucky when it comes to injuries are we.

To be fair that would be the international and premier league defender Mark Fish you are comparing him too, not just the 45 mins disaster at QPR…

Anyway it’d be a horrible shame if he’s out for a long time. Woolfie has become a lovely player in the last year or so.

Really hope this is untrue, but in Edmundson we have a great option on 14:29 - Dec 15 with 6002 viewsunstableblue

.. and with Keogh as a brilliant sub.. and with Leigh to provide further CB cover
