Any Eco “warriors” at Glastonbury on 16:41 - Jul 1 by Marshalls_Mullet | No excuse for leaving tents and chairs etc behind. Lazy, disgusting people. |
Think you should take into account not everyone is drunk. A lot of people probably off their faces on ecstasy etc and don't know their @sshole from their elbow, let alone where their tent would be after days without sleep. I would imagine a large amount of people leave it for that reason alone. It all gets cleaned up in the end so don't see it as a reason to get your flaps out over it.

An excellent idea on the nice clean loos, might discourage people from shltting in the hedges.

Any Eco “warriors” at Glastonbury on 16:44 - Jul 1 by Marshalls_Mullet | ...leaving tents and chairs behind? That can be avoided. |
The left over tents and chairs all go to charity - it’s actually better to leave them than dispose of them properly The general litter on the other hand isn’t go good, although the point about the bins is valid I do find the idea of giving people a slap on the back for not consuming water from plastic because none was available a bit odd mind you!

One bright spark turns discarded tents into waterproof kagool thingamebobs,, to then sell at other festivals. Bloody good they are too.
| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

I still pine for the tin of peaches that went missing while I was on acid at the Windsor Festival in 1974...

I don't think we're talking about carrying your rubbish around with you all the time, there are bins for that. It was more about taking it with you when you leave. Who the hell would walk round a festival with a bin bag?

Any Eco “warriors” at Glastonbury on 09:17 - Jul 2 with 2664 views | 26_Paz | Glastonbury is full of hypocrites. Its run by a millionaire and attended by rich, middle class people who can afford £200 odd quid a ticket. Yet they shamelessly shout random left wing phrases, shout obscenities at the man who will soon be prime minister and generally claim that capitalism has let them down. Awful place, awful people.

Hardly. Maybe it was like that 30 years ago but you're more likely to be sharing a field with yuppies and children nowadays.

That's what I mean, its been taken over by the middle classes yet they still try and retain some kind of anti capitalist vibe ... which was fine when it was the kind of festival it was when it started but now the festival itself has embraced capitalism the attitude of its attendees is just perverse.

£199.99 or £200.01 would be odd quid, but I would call £200 even quid. Unless you meant that all quids are odd...which would be an affront to the picture of Her Majesty that they bear. Hang your head in shame.
