and pay the mortgage fees, insurances and probably have to pay to have a bank account with them as well or something. All these too-good-to-be-true offers have something about them that make them not too-good-to-be-true. They may also be ruthless with repossessions or something as well.

Hudryhurdyhurdy Big Mac og fries hurdyhurdyhurdy. Or something like that. It was the missus who worked out there. I’d wake her up to ask her but for the inevitable kick in the plumbs. Nice place, but they smoke a lot. That can’t be healthy.

It is very difficult for foreigners to purchase property in Denmark. If it wasn’t, it would be full of Norwegians.

I live in Denmark and I know quite a few foreigners who own property. It's not hard at all. I'm on the list to buy an andel and no one has batted an eyelid

but you are a resident and you are on a waiting list. How easy would it be for a UK citizen to purchase property in Denmark without living there? I still think there is likely a catch to the offer too. The article mentions fees specifically.

I'm on a waiting list for an andel - an apartment in a kind of shared ownership block where the price is fixed much lower but you pay a monthly maintenance fee. There are general rules to ensure you live in the property you buy, so if you buy you need to stay there.
