Wolfy is a legend in the making. I know years ago he had a tag of ‘lacks concentration, too laid back’, but the kid is ridiculously good - mainly through McKenna’s coaching.
He raises his levels against a better level of opposition every time and just keeps improving. We’ll look back in 20 years time at him as our Baresi / Maldini figure. He’s still no age for a CB playing La pausa like he does.

Have to say I thought the same today as the other game where people reacted like he was Maldini regenerated.
Had a good defensive game, particularly in the 2nd half, but he does seem a bit of an awkward fit as a RB in our system - we don't have the same impetus down that side as when Clarke's there as he just gets it. Today was a bit give it to Omari and see what he can do on the right flank.
Suspect McKenna's using him right now to give Clarke a bit of relief as it seems fairly clear his ongoing achilles problem is some cause for concern. |  |
