Sorry it's been closed so long, I've been away on business. No pushing ffs. If I can't get to you feel free to help yourself and leave cash or pills or whatever in the loyalty pot. Don't mind the sh1t stains, they aren't fresh. |
| Forum Thread | Merry Christmas TWTD, ho ho fookin ho! at 11:54 28 Dec 2023
What a second half tonic v the runaway leaders, and a hilarious spawny double deflection to seal a last minute draw. You make your own luck innit and the point was fully deserved, even the Leicester fans will agree. If we could sharpen up with a couple of clinical finisher additions in January we can maintain our push. Looking forward to a Friday night under the lights, and wishing you all a very safe new year and all the best for 2024. COYFB |

Felt like a bit of a sliding doors moment when Morsy dispossessed their defender and slotted home. If the defender had been calmer or more skillful and found a teammate Samy is way out of position, and it's either a decent breakaway for Watford or a yellow card for Morsy. The calmness and bravery to slip the ball under the goalie from there further epitomises McKenna's philosophy. Sensible or cautious option seemed to be find Ladapo. Fook that, fortune favours the brave innit. As it happens, it's three points and now ten points clear of Leeds, and Samy can play in the derby. Massive arf! Can't believe it tbh. Ignore the Hladky error obviously :) COYFB |

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67691038 "According to Turkish news agencies, Meler said: "Faruk Koca punched me under my left eye - I fell to the ground. While I was on the ground, other people kicked me in the face and other parts of my body many times." Koca, 59, was twice elected to Turkey's parliament as part of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's ruling AK Party. He is quoted by news agencies in Turkey as saying he does not accept responsibility, adding: "This incident developed due to the wrong decisions and provocative behaviour of the referee. My aim was to react verbally to the referee and spit in his face." Throw the prick in prison I say. |

Not a single Town player (except the goalie, smartarse) wore gloves yesterday. Possibly partly why we won. COYFB |

Can we nip the Carrow Rd is falling down song in the bud please? Tinpot, unimaginative rubbish, that doesn't even make much sense in the way the Man City one does. Yet! |

Looking at the ticket website... Coventry tix priority sales were available over a month before the fixture... any reason why the sales dates for Nodge aren't on the official site yet? |
| Forum Thread | "Ipswich continue to punch above their weight" at 08:57 13 Nov 2023
On EFL extended highlights. A commentator who doesn't know his footy. We are exceeding expectations, sure, but "punching above our weight" is just incorrect. Get these things right you ignorant numpties. |

“On top of that, other teams are allowed to have plans as well and it's been more common over the last few weeks that teams are trying to stop us, teams are changing their marking strategy through the middle of the pitch, teams are trying to really stop us playing through them and make it difficult. “That’s then a challenge that the players on the pitch have to adapt to, have to rise to and I think they've been doing a terrific job trying to do so and trying to find different ways and build their way through the game and build pressure and work out where they overload and find the solutions as the game goes on, which is what you need to do and teams set out the stall to try and stop you. “I think the supporters have been massive. I think everyone is pretty realistic with how difficult the games have been. Our record has been excellent, but the margins have been really tight and having the supporters right there with us and understanding the effort and the challenges the players are facing has been massive for us and is going to be massive for us for the rest of the season.” Love this. Will any Town manager ever truly compare to the great Sir Bobby, as a person as much as their football achievements, but there’s a really similar vibe to the way McKenna speaks about the game. So calm and respectful. It bodes amazingly well for him and I’m just gonna enjoy it while we have him. |
