Replacement for McKenna…. 10:39 - Feb 9 with 4338 views | Bloots | ….when he goes to Palace? Who do we think? My preference is still Rosenior, but I still think Manning has the potential to come good. Will we look for another up and coming, under the radar, coach? Can’t see us going down the foreign route at the moment.

Replacement for McKenna…. on 10:45 - Feb 9 with 2991 views | Kieran_Knows | In terms of up and coming coaches, Miguel Molina or Carlos Cuesta from Arsenal. Eric Ramsey at United is another (think he was linked when McKenna first took over as they went to Uni together). Lee Grant possibly? Listening to him on the Town podcast a few months back, he has aspirations to go in to management himself, which was the reason why he wanted to be a 'coach' rather than goalkeeping coach as he felt there would be no way in to Management if he went down that route.

….I wouldn’t be adverse to it either. Would it be fanciful to think we could lure Potter? (Graham, not Harry) Perhaps we’d look internally, I’m sure that Lee Grant had aspirations towards management.

Potter would be good as he laid the foundations at Brighton

I think he'd be a good fit - seems to like (and do well) at being a bit of an underdog. His style isn't too dissimilar to KM's too, both style of football and a supportive man manager. We'd probably need KM to take us up first though; we're ultimately a financially poor side that wouldn't attract someone like him in this league without having parachute payments (i.e. I could see him currently being intersted in Leicester, but not us). Anyway, KM's going nowhere. he'll be the next Nirish SAR or SBR.

Why would you do that. If it happens you’ll need to celotape me to me seat, or I might end up jumping from the top tier

I had heard Potter was heading to Palace. I think it will be hard for Hodgson to last the season there as it's turned a bit toxic, which probably helps us from a McKenna staying perspective.

Ideal candidate to save us from relegation from the Prem this time next season. Surely McKenna stays though, but I do have a weird funny feeling he’s going to be off before the end of the season, I will cry.

Well, it won't be Potter as he'll be at Palace by the end of the season, 100%. Guess we'll have to stick with McKenna and then maybe these repeated threads will end.

There's a lot of sexism on this thread. Various Potters being suggested, but until now no-one has mentioned Beatrix.

Same. Cooper has suggested he wouldn’t take that role mid season but hopefully that isn’t true and he’s their first choice
Replacement for McKenna…. on 11:11 - Feb 9 with 2596 views | Bluedandy | Why on earth would he go to Croydon Palace this season .... smaller club on a downward spiral with a decrepit stadium that backs onto a supermarket and likely to be playing Championship football in August.
