Thank god we signed Keiffer Moore 18:02 - Feb 3 with 3417 viewskizaitfc

It's no coincidence our drop in form has been since Hirst got injured.

KM has been right when he said KJ is a wingers not a striker.

Think we will kick on again now with Moore and Al Hamadi up top.

Poll: Mick in or out? (not a dig at Mick just want to see the overall opinion on here)

If that’s the case, then we should’ve started with Moore upfront rather than Jackson. Poor decision proven right at half time.

I don’t think so. Moore hasn’t trained or seen the team play so it made sense to start Jackson who hasn’t let the team down when he’s played.

100% loss record with him in the squad though…

Just having a finisher in the box will make a big difference. I didn’t see today, so how was his all round support play?

All pretty good, his presence caused instant chaos for Preston

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Averaging 4 goals a game though. At last we've found that 184 goal a season striker we've been looking for.

May have not let the team down, but has looked a complete lack of a goal threat in every game he’s played.

Signed a number 9, play a number 9. (Who has had minutes very recently in the premier league)

Good stuff. He looked shot earlier in the season, but much brighter when I saw him on the TV over the Christmas period. I wasn’t sure which way the signing would go, but looks like he’s going to be a real asset. Just his experience will help - he’s not going to be ruffled by the pressure of the run in.

With hindsight it made no sense.

We don’t have that benefit but there’s no point in saying after the game that it made sense for KJ to start.

If Moore hadn’t seen the team play, it’s about time we introduced those new-fangled video things to our training centre

I was in the ‘jackson probably has to start’ camp, based on lack of training for the other two.

I’m now firmly in the ‘jackson doesn’t start another game if these two are fit’ camp. I don’t even want to see him as a wide man, he can’t cross ffs

It is exciting, we often have the ball out wide, obvious from yesterday that any half decent cross will be attacked.

It’s another string to the bow isn’t it.

The quality of ball in from the right is miles off that from the left, so I hope teams don’t double up on Davis every week to stop the threat.

The relatively poor quality of crossing from the right is something that McKenna must surely have lined up to work on in training. Was particularly noticeable v Maidstone I thought.

He hasn’t let team down in effort, his effort is unquestionable, but he is simply not up to playing as a CF at this level.

I said on another post it is like watching us play with a man short as he doesn’t offer for the ball.

But to most. There's nothing wrong with our crossing from the right. In fact it's a specific area which most feel is of high quality.

I don't think it's just me and texters saying that it's relatively poor to what's comig in from the left - not expecting to match up to Leif's quality, but have a re-wind of the Maidstone game if you can find the time.

Agreed, except I also said it before the game.

We put plenty of crosses in as it is which Moore will thrive on. However, we also turn down good crossing opportunities too due to lack of options attacking the ball in favour of recycling it around the box. This is most evident against the low bloçk tactics. With Moore in the side, we will have more chance of breaking through with crosses we othe4wise wouldn't take.

Jackson is a League One player. He's only been playing much because of Hirst's injury & our lack of back-up given the recall of Scarlett & loaning out of Ladapo. The positives are his pace & work rate. I thibk McKenna likes his attitude as a squad player but I doubt we'll be seeing much, if anyof him next season.
