If McKenna was sacked today on 09:07 - Jul 19 by TRUE_BLUE123 | Going down a similar theme to Mckenna probably Lee Grant, Anthony Barry, Carlos Cuesta, Liam Manning Someone like that |
Carlos Cuesta will 100% go on to manage someone. Probably a bit young at the minute, but another 3-4 years and he’ll get a decent job somewhere.

If McKenna was sacked today on 10:41 - Jul 19 by FrimleyBlue | In fairness to the OP perhaps he read the 442 interview with Phil where it was a question put to him. Maybe not written as a sacking though. |
Possibly so; but, as a fella well-versed in the Einstein-Ham law of action and reaction, you might appreciate, as I did, which way the wind would blow>

Because he might be sacked?

If McKenna was sacked today on 10:55 - Jul 19 by FifeITFC | Give me one reason, just one, why McKenna would be sacked right now in your "hypothetical" world when you merge it with the reality of what is happening today? Go. |
Maybe a hypothetical scandal could arise which might hypothetically result in McKenna being hypothetically sacked, or something. If that were to happen, who could Town hypothetically replace him with in this hypothetical made-up scenario?

If McKenna was sacked today on 13:47 - Jul 19 with 1533 views | BlueBlueBlood | All organisations will have succession plans in place for when key individuals leave (for whatever reason). The question that should have been posed perhaps is who would be on your long list of potentials when they day comes? For me, I don't feel it necessary to speculate, so won't be adding any names.

Yes and the subjunctive mood demands 'were', not 'was'. Even the smaller details of the post are unbefitting of a Florian.

Is your username a vegetable pun? If so, then surely your username should be 'Vegetablue'. Can you not even spell basic words?

But his user name isn't a basic word, it is a made up one.

Florian is a male given name borrowed from the ancient Roman name Florianus. Seems appropriate

As wkj says, I spelt my name how I wanted to Florian Fletcher!!! I inform you now that I possess advanced spelling skills! I decided to remain faithful to the number of letters in 'vegetable' and, more importantly, I wanted to emphasize 'Veg' for nickname purposes while avoiding the potential mispronunciation of my invented username by non-native speakers, or anyone who overlooks my name's origin story for that matter - essentially to banish that erroneous fourth syllable from the minds of any unsuspecting TWTD users. You're also being highly generous with the word 'pun'. I thank you for it! If you wanted genuine discussion today, you would have posed the question without reference to McKenna's dismissal. In a previous opening post you told us Knight had agreed terms and would be announced in the period 26th June - 2nd July. Hmmm! At least you've learnt from today's discussions that, when constructing 'if' sentences, we always use the 'were' form of 'to be'. 'Was' is for real talk. *It would be remiss of me not to stress that the above lesson is for the subjunctive mood, a.k.a. hypothetical talk; I don't wish to be responsible for anyone avoiding 'if I was' when speaking or writing in the indicative mood, a.k.a. real talk.
