My outings so far today resulted in a complete failure to secure any flour in Tesco- which was also completely out of Baked Beans, Pitta Bread, Chinese starter snacks, toilet roll, and very very low on large sections of the freezer section. Loads of fresh fruit and veg though. |  |

32, though most of those are very cheap ones that sort of remind me of the Izel stuff we used to have at school back in the day. Tracing paper like and more likely to smear than wipe.

We normally buy a massive pack at the end of each month. Usual stock is in the 20’s/30’s.
We have items such as bog roll that we buy in bulk each month.

Though the chest freezer in the basement is now rammed.
And we have three bags of stuff down in the basement that wont fit the kitchen cupboards.

The good thing about me, if I say so myself, is I don't buy to hoard. If family, friend or neighbour needed some i'd happily hand them over for free.
Also, I wouldn't buy any if the store was severely limited knowing I had plenty at home. I just grab some when I see somewhere that has plenty. |  |

I have a large cupboard where I hoard stuff.
It's not really intended as that of course, it's just where things like the chest freezer is, along with the ironing board - hooked on the wall - and a spare couple of fold up chairs.
The vacuum cleaner, some tools, box of old books...
That's where, when I collect a shop, I dump all beer, wine, kitchen rolls, loos rolls...
I only have a flat, but this is one of it's most redeeming features; it's one muvver of a cupboard. | |

My mum was telling me a story on the phone earlier about a woman picking up the last pack (4 or 6 rolls, can't remember). Another woman nearby muttered "Bit selfish." The first woman said, "What? It's one pack!" then the other woman snatched the pack, ripped it open, took two rolls and walked off, leaving the first woman in tears.
