I'd at least get him in to train and see where he's at fitness wise. If he could get up to speed he could possibly do a job for us on a short term basis.

Whilst the romance would be quite something, the fact is he would be expensive, has had no pre-season, would take ages to get up to speed and then probably pull something ten minutes in.
If it was the start of the season and we could've got him in for pre-season then i would've been all for it. |  |

I suspect he really doesn't in terms of the wages otherwise he would've just signed with Burton when they offered him a deal and he was already there. The fact it was supposedly a pay as you play deal suggests his fitness is not to be trusted - and we don't need another player like that. Much better to use Lankester or similar if we get stuck to be honest. | |
