Agreed when you put it like that. BUT a new manager, new perspective, exciting times ahead etc. He could have got some of them to buy into it if he wanted to. It's somewhat unusual to sell your best players rather than build around them.

Concern troll is concerned.

Your attitude is somewhat bizarre. What Hurst is doing is unusual in the extreme. I for one cannot fathom why he hasn't attempted to get established players onside, rather than sell them, and ignored young players many of whom have more championship experience than he has, or his loans and signings combined. It IS possible to be a Town supporter and question his judgment I suspect the majority are in my camp - and happy to be proved wrong.

As someone else commented though, I'm sure this FB group is well meaning.

It's all a bit surreal though.

I agree, hopefully we will not have to don tin hats this early in the season ;)

What would be bizarre behaviour is if I were hanging around on a Norwich forum, pretending to be a Norwich supporter.

You're a budgie. You don't fool me!

You need a good hard banning son!

Would this be the same Paul Hurst who made 156 appearances for Rotherham in the second tier between 2001 and 2005?

How do you 'get onside' players who want to leave for more money or longer contracts?

I'd argue that the majority of supporters are not behind him until he proves himself worthy of support. His attitude on arrival bordered on arrogance and seems to have unsettled the established players. Did he HAVE to sell so many or did they jump ship? His ignoring of young players hoping to make the breakthrough this season is little short of criminal so far. And he has signed a hotchpotch of players many of whom are in positions that were already covered. I'm hoping he proves himself but so far I have been unimpressed with his approach even if he talks the talk. PR is easy, even if it was ultimately beyond MM. He has to deliver a coherent narrative on the pitch. I wish him well but so far question whether he is not out of his depth.

95%+ of ITFC fans are behind Paul Hurst.

are you sure?

I've seen way too many people who should be tested before being allowed to voice their opinions, state Hurst out, How long should we give him etc...
it's a seriously worrying amount of people

"he has signed a hotchpotch of players many of whom are in positions that were already covered."

A right back (we've been crying out for one for years).
A Centre back (without whom we're down to ONE specialist on Sunday).
Two forwards replacing two who wanted to go.
A winger replacing the one we've not had (please don't count Ward).

Hardly a hotch-potch, unless you mean we haven't signed 5 players there who have played together before, which is, of course, in the very nature of a transfer system.

It's far more civilised in Sainsbury's than in Tesco or Asda.

Waitrose is my preferred supermarket but Sainsburys is decent IMO.

Now you see I always found Tescos much better than Sainsburys. Course, both of those beat the crap out of Asda. A miserable experience if ever there was one.

Waitrose of course trumps them all.

What's so special in Sainsburys that you can't find in any other more reputable supermarkets?

(Is Safeway still a thing? Has Morrisons improved? Do people still get their weekly shop from M&S?)

questions questions questions.
