that Fashanu song on 00:12 - Aug 16 by Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | I had a text saying some 16 old oiks were singing west ham songs after a few shandies. Now that deserves a slap. WHU songs coming out of the Ipswich end, pricks. I'd much prefer Milwall to West Ham in any case. |
Did you nearly steam in and give them a slap?

that Fashanu song on 10:03 - Aug 16 by 26_Paz | Stupid and homophobic, yes, I'm in no way defending it here but in what way is it racist? |
I've just had this debate with my hubby! I've definitely heard a version which substitutes 'black' for 'gay'. Appalling song, either way.

that Fashanu song on 10:22 - Aug 16 by clive_baker | Funny you should say that, outside the old kings head yesterday it was 99% Ipswich fans, inside there were quite a few Millwall. Few police there and it was all fine. Walked to the bar with my mate and a couple Millwall fans who could clearly handle themselves were chatting. Naturally, being the nosey sod I am I was listening and one said something like 'Ipswich fans singing West Ham songs out there, shall we go and say hello'. His mate goes 'you're joking aren't you, it's Ipswich. Laughable really'. I sh1t you not. At which point I got served and walked back out to some 16 year old spotty oiks in their fake stone island jumpers fresh off ebay singing the Fashanu song. Just had to shake my head and walk past. Their pants would've been so brown had those lads walked over to them. |
Leave the tinpottery to Norwich you tools. You're a let-down to ITFC. Singing West Ham songs ffs!

...."lowlight" in a night of highlights for me. And to put that into perspective I was standing next to the kid that set the smoke bomb off. (his white trainers had had one bright red toecap afterwards, I laughed)

probably the best away day i've had for many a year. we missed the first 2 goals & almost left for a curry thinking it was 2-0. Loud and fantastic atmosphere throughout but especially town. You can hear it on the highlights.

Some melt let one off outside Degeros before the Norwich home game last year & my white trainers turned to blue when a copper approached him & he chucked it on the floor right by my feet.

Same here. They scored as we were walking in and we scored as we were shuntered this way and that by inept stewards. And I missed our third goal cos I was buying the troops pints. Cracking evening.

I got a mouthful of smoke from that and also I could not see the players celebrating our winner. Not sure how far away from me the kid that set the smoke bomb off was but must have been quite close.

that Fashanu song on 10:25 - Aug 16 by WarkTheWark | Exactly - makes us look so stupid, especially when West Ham come a very close second to Scum for many of our support. That said if they are 17/18 they wouldn't understand that. Quick word in the ear should suffice. As for the Fash song, i think it's had its time now. Not sure banning people is the right move but other fans should defo step in tell them to zip it. I once sang it and was challenged on why it was okay to sing it - no logical response. Never did sing it again. |
It's disgraceful isn't it.

I stood a row or two behind the guy who lit the flare/smoke bomb. I thought it was great, as in the smoke bomb, not the homophobic chants. EDIT: just re read your post, doesn't seem like you're actually complaining about the smoke bomb. My bad. Added to the 'scenes' though, innit. [Post edited 16 Aug 2017 13:05]

that Fashanu song on 13:22 - Aug 16 with 1215 views | Tristan90 | A fortnight after I wrote that it was dead! Still, nice to see round condemnation of it here, at least, and I was on the left hand side and didn't hear it so it clearly it does't have much traction. I agree with those of you who said we should be having word with oiks who think it's okay! And as for the West Ham songs, I mean really...
