Has some decent moments, seems completely isolated on the wing with Donacien offering no attacking support though. [Post edited 21 Aug 2019 14:10]

Completely agree that we should be aiming top 6 even with the current squad, but the squad is thin considering we have all the cup competitions as well we can't rely on a bunch of teenagers to be fit for 40/50 games a season. We do need investment, when Nolan, Edwards, Sears, etc do come back we can't rely on them to be playing 90 minutes twice a week either. There's no point trying to do this on the cheap, a little investment already to help us go up will be a drop in the ocean to the money we will receive back. |

Ndaba and Woolfenden have played 30 games between them in tiered football, all lower than the league we are currently in. Skuse isn't a natural CB and already covers a position we are currently thin on the ground on and Donacien covers a position where Emmanuel is our only other cover - not hard to see we need another CB. As Lambert has previously stated, no one is guaranteed to start. This is a weaker squad than the one that managed 5 wins in 46 games last season, why do you now think we are going to be world beaters with no real investment? |

It doesn't, but having two senior CB's and a long list of injuries doesn't equate to success either does it? |

Just spend nothing stay down and lose even more money? |
| Forum Reply | Evans is a far far bigger problem than McCarthy at 17:31 14 Mar 2018
1). Evans has previously stated it's available - as are a lot of clubs, if someone had come in with an offer to take over the club do you honestly think he'd have said no? 2). Let's be honest he's a far cry from Steve Gibson or most other owners, he shows his face once every blue moon. |

Sad reality is, Evans has previously stated that he is willing to sell up - without him we are a bit stuck. Also, it's hard to put a message forward to an owner who has little to no interest in the club, never attends the games and has no real concept of what is going on at the club. |

Pitch invasion too soft. I think there should be missiles or burn the stands - great logic. |

Another manager worth noting is Mowbray. Former player, did a great job at Coventry who have struggled since and currently top of league 1 with Blackburn. |

I think he's arrogant too, very similar to McCarthy. I'd personally much rather a younger manager who's a bit more in touch with modern football i.e Paul Cook! |

Similar mold of manager as McCarthy, negative football and ultimately aims to keep clubs up rather than an attacking minded manager who gets wins. |

Sacked when he nearly took Wigan down, sacked by Leeds when he had 2 wins in 12. Solid championship manager! |
