Why no pitch invasion? 08:31 - Mar 14 with 13042 viewsBrixtonBlue

Loads of people chanted "on the pitch" and there was a powder-puff line of women and chubby old boys to stop us, but I saw no attempt to get on and protest.

Worried about a ban? Hardly a threat getting banned from watching that dross!

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

Exactly. It's just football. If it upsets you so much then save the money you'd be spending on a ticket and do something that might make you happy.

Plus, just because some spotty little Herberts feel the need to give it all 'billy big b0ll0cks' doesn't mean anyone was remotely considering acquiring a criminal record just becuase they were a bit miffed about a football match, or (more likely) a bit miffed that Mick is still here

*I* should get a grip?!?

I didn't suggest a pitch invasion. I was just wondering why those chanting it didn't do it.

It wasn't just "spotty little Herberts".

I was just wondering why they were chanting it if they haven't got the balls to go through with it.

BTW disagree with your attitude of just stop going. People care about their football club. They should protest if they feel that could affect change (not saying pitch invasions is the answer, for the hard of thinking).

Just shrugging and doing something else shows a lack of caring.

Seriously? You weren't advocating that sort of action when we were rooted to the bottom of the table under that fat useless clown Jewel and regularly getting spanked by five or six goals.

We are nowhere near that situation under Mick.

So if you don't think not going helps, you don't think a pitch invasion is the answer, chanting if they haven't got the balls to go through with it? through with what? And then you say just shrugging and doing something else shows lack of caring.

Maybe it was because they were afraid that by association with the club, once they were on the pitch they may appear directionless and devoid of any point being there without being able to make any impact?

I like how much stick the potential invaders are getting here. Were you guys not here in 1992 when we won the league, 1994 when we wanted Lyall out, 2000 when we won the Playoffs?

The fact that a peaceful pitch protest is now considered a crime sums up 2018 in a nutshell. No wonder we have lost our two day weekend off from work, 0 hours contracts, and the like - we've lost our backbone in this country!

Apparently noisily protesting won't help so accepting things as they are is the new protest. It shows ME that we still care about the club, even though he is destroying the very soul of it. COYB.

Whataboutery! I can't remember what I was advocating years ago in any case.

But anyway, I'm not advocating it now either.

Where have I said we are near that situation under Mick?

I'm just asking, if they're chanting it why aren't they doing it? I've nowhere stated it's the right thing to do.
