Waghorn, Garner and Celina as the front 3 should work well, and we're always better with 3 in midfield imo.
To be fair, all of Mick's signings from the summer look really decent. Connolly in midfield could be a masterstroke.
We've lost 1 in 5 since Norwich - Villa and Derby away next so let's hope that the 433 clicks. Seems like a pretty open Championship as well this season (apart from Wolves possibly).
There's a reason we bought him as well - because he was scoring for fun as a striker in a struggling side.
After being played all over the shop early in his career, he'd finally found his position imo - and he's a decent striker at this level - why we've reverted to playing him all over the shop to accommodate Brett "the targetman" Pitman only Mick can try to justify. It's safe to say that it's worked for Sears when he's played as a striker (Newcastle last season showed he's still got it) and the tactic of playing him as a winger hasn't.
Absolutely should have scored yesterday but he won't need telling. Confidence is everything for a striker.
Are you paid to smear this muck on a football forum?
We're one species - there is no science behind this 'races' concept. The division has been made by politicians, and by perpetuating the *racism issue* you're actually perpetuating the concept.
The concept is the problem, and it's a delicious concept for white males as they're winning the "race".
Drop it. You're a species of ape on an massive orb. The orb has many different living conditions to which your brothers and sisters have adapted over the years. It's not worth dividing yourself from them over.
I always post more when we lose - there's more to talk about, regardless of my position on the manager.
We beat Burton and Preston who were both hideously out of form which for me hasn't papered over the cracks, but it's 2 wins out of 3 which can't be argued with. The draw at Hull for me was more impressive than those earlier victories considering the opposition.
We're in form, I'll keep quiet. As I did early in the season (after going bonkers after the 6-1 defeat to Charlton). I've completely lost confidence in the manager. Sorry. You are a superior being etc etc
Manson had to be convicted - Nixon had declared him guilty early in the trial (which should have meant a mis-trial). Cue Bugliosi's crazy 'helter skelter' theory based loosely on Krishnaventi (who thought he was Jesus and had orgies nearby in California a few decades earlier) and The Beatles' White Album. Offer immunity from prosecution or straight-up cash for manufactured testimony from other people at Spahn Ranch and Bob's your proverbial. Linda Kasabian had just had a child and was offered a 'lie or die' deal - she was heading for the death penalty if she didn't comply...
There was no defence phase to the trial either, Manson was denied his constitutional right to represent himself, and Charles Watson (the guy who killed everyone) wasn't even present!
13 goals in 16 games in League One makes you about 10 times more expensive than that if you sustain it to a degree for the whole season.
Remember when we last sold a player of ours who was banging them in on loan in League One?
Get him back here, give him some games - confidence is everything for a striker and we need 6"6 strikers with our default style of play.
Imagine there's a 6"6 striker knocking them in for fun in League One - we'd be priced out of a move! Ludicrous if we sell him imo, if Garner gets injured we'll need Moore to play that role.
Flat Earth is the first conspiracy theory brought to you by the CIA.
It's been contrived simply to make the other theories look ridiculous - the association is made in the media time and time again. Why are the BBC giving it a platform?
Now every dialogue about conspiracy has been spammed with this nonsense.
He's a very good manager - an old school motivator who has moved with the times as well as anyone. Look at Sunderland and Palace (and Bolton) without him.
Still think with Allardyce we'd have given it a right go. Even McClaren wasn't sacked by Middlesboro so how Southgate got the gig I'll never know. He was U21 manager, but so was Stuart Pearce IIRC!
Pazelle wouldn't have concerned himself with such trivial nonsense.
