Back to back promotions? 10:45 - Jul 20 with 2411 viewsgordon

Surely with the momentum gained from the win last night this is on the cards? Is it too much to expect the titles as well?

Toto will be captaining us in our return to Europe. Mark my words.

This year we will win league 1 and check a trade trophy, next year we win championship and league cup, the next year we win the Prem and FA cup.

I’d be disappointed if we didn’t win Eurovision as well.

100 POINTS AND 100 GOALS

I am hoping for at least 107 points in both this campaign and next, just to put a stop to Reading's 'we got the record' tin pottery.

Fair play to them, they still lead Norwich in the 'spurious things to count as achievements' stakes.

... I don't to dampen your enthusiasm, but lets not get too carried away!!

I think a resounding win over Sunderland (a real test) after a win at Burton, then I'm happy to get on your back to back promotion bus!!

Look, we tried negativity last year, and look where it got us. If we're going to get our Mojo back we need optimism, and lots of it. What say we just march into Football League headquarters and announce that we're going to have a 50 point head start for being the greatest club in history?

Yep. And as we all know, bad feelings on this precious forum can easily pass on to the players.

Time to come together and embrace a little optimism :)

'Lambert not getting carried away with five-start display'

If you read between the lines that's another way of saying Lambert knows the title is in the bag and is planning for next year in the Championship already.

If I am honest I can see next season going one of two ways:

we keep key players fit and play as a team and there are very few hiccups on the way to us finishing in the top two.

we lose players as we have in the past, get jittery and give away goals, stop scoring and end up nowhere near the play-offs.

I struggle to see much in between - which means it probably will be something in between.
