RIP Ray Wilkins (n/t) on 14:25 - Apr 4 with 5054 views | Swansea_Blue | RIP. His face was one of the first I used to see when waking up as a kid. Not as creepy as it sounds as I had England wallpaper on the walls. Always seemed a gent and one of the good ones. Lovely player too.

RIP Ray Wilkins (n/t) on 14:29 - Apr 4 with 5020 views | SWGF | Mate used to work at Chelsea and had lots of dealings with Ray. He was NEVER anything other than unfailingly polite & courteous to everyone and always "dangerously well". Horrible news.

RIP Ray Wilkins (n/t) on 15:15 - Apr 4 with 4735 views | factual_blue | Very sad. I remember going to Old Trafford in about 1975 for an England U/21 fixture with a Chelsea-supporting mate, who said Wilkins would be the man to watch. He was streets ahead of any other player on the pitch. If only Sir Bobby had signed him: we'd have picked up three league titles and the European Cup. Edit - it was 1976 and his only appearance at U/21. He was in the senior squad thereafter. [Post edited 4 Apr 2018 15:20]
