The result is actually quite good. 10:06 - Jun 9 with 10644 views | Lord_Lucan | Torys will have to think hard about their far right policies and we don't have the cataclysmic outcome of a Labour government. Also TM might resign leaving Boris to pick up the crown. In many ways it is a strong and stable outcome.

I thought that a while ago he comes across very well. A cross party brexit team makes sense although whether it would work in practice is another matter.

In an ideal world, they'll be able to work together and make compromises to make decisions between them. But they won't. They'll revert to childish squabbling and name-calling as usual.

The result is actually quite good. on 10:32 - Jun 9 with 4656 views | Radlett_blue | The result confirms that the country remains divided, as it was over Brexit. It seems the young turned out in force this time, partially as they were piqued over Brexit & they voted Labour. That's democracy at work. If we do now have a more centrist type of government, that may well be a good thing, although getting the DUP onside will be tricky, while the assumption is still that the 7 Sinn Feiners don't take their seats. We're certainly in for a period of weak government & another election in the next 12 months is a near given. Hard to see May still in situ. I'm sure any Brexit deal will now be put to Parliament so this one could run & run.

So they didn't put 'privatising the NHS' in their manifesto. Probably wise - but more people saw through that than they anticipated it would seem. [Post edited 9 Jun 2017 11:02]

It's not up to May, it's up to the people who put her there. Just keep watching.
