They'd run us better than Evans I am sure

15th richest club in Europe....ask a Hammers fan if they properly invest.

But if they did invest wouldn’t they become less rich?

To be fair, you could ask a West Ham fan almost any question and they would struggle. The answer is that West Ham are firmly mid table in their net transfer spend over the past 3 seasons or so. You could argue that with the low overheads they have and the draw of London the could be doing a little better on the recruitment front, but the managers have had the resources and they should be nowhere near the bottom 3.
West Ham on 07:31 - Feb 25 with 1363 views | ITFC_Forever | Them going down could be the pin that bursts the bubble. Their financial statement a couple of weeks ago made it very clear that relegation would be catastrophic and that the club is run entirely on them playing in the Prem. If they went down, they would be in major trouble. Given the ridiculous nature of finance in football in the top two divisions, it needs a major event to bring them all to their senses, such as a big club going bust.... not just a Bury or Bolton. The sooner it happens, the better.

West Ham on 08:51 - Feb 25 with 1272 views | skyblue23 | I can't believe they had the audacity to protest at a game without having a buyer for the club stood side by side with them. Everybody knows you aren't allowed to protest without finding a new owner first!

West Ham on 09:02 - Feb 25 with 1243 views | itfcjoe | They have been moved from their home to a new ground with the promise that it will lead to better things and see the club take the next step, and are going backwards. If we were playing in front of 55k at the Copdock Arena and were still going backwards you'd have more of a point. Leaving Upton Park has really killed the experience for a lot of long term fans who don't go any more

The move to the London Stadium - which is a good athletics stadium but a poor venue for watching football or rugby - was a financial no-brainer & it allows West Ham to have an above average wage bill within the Premier League. Yes, they are under achieving & shouldn't be relegation candidates but is that because they keep changing managers too often or just keep appointing the wrong managers?

A number of things, but really boils down to having owners with no real strategy or vision on the footballing side, and that are far too easily blinded by the latest shiny striker or ageing cast-off from top sides rather than building any real structure or identity

West Ham on 09:48 - Feb 25 with 1115 views | ElephantintheRoom | They've been rubbish for over 50 years - they were pretty poor even with an axis of Hurst, Moore and Peters. I'm not sure any West Ham fans expect any sustained success. The older ones might appreciate the occasional cup win and a once in a century Euro triumph - but that is not on the Premier League supporter's agenda any more. If a couple of Porn Merchant's had moved Town into an athletics arena somewhere well away from Ipswich...in say Beccles I am sure most Town fans would be a tad unenthusiastic.

Ipswich to Beccles is not the same distance as Upton Park to the Olympic Stadium. West Ham only moved a few miles.

Well yes - but it is most certainly NOT West Ham territory.... that's the shabby end of East London.... and the Olympic White ELephant is indeed an awkward journey from, say Barking - or any other traditional Hammer fan's haunts If anything Beccles is a tad too convenient and wholesome by comparison.... maybe Haverhill is a better comparison to what the Pornos have done to West Ham.
