Yes, highly overpriced and fairly ordinary in my experience Coast to Coast in the Buttermarket seems to offer a similar fare and appears equally average I think Grand Central did the same before being rebranded also, again overpriced and not all that impressive

I was there not dancing with anyone, you took a little then you took me over You set your mark on stealing my heart away... Crying, trying anything for you. Think it’s safe to say, I'm in the middle of a chain reaction.

Chain restaurant decline continues on 10:44 - Sep 4 with 4848 views | DebsyAngel | Not been there over 2 years. We were disappointed at how expensive it had become and the portions were smaller. We much prefer Tavernetta in St Nicholas Street now. Lovely food there.
Chain restaurant decline continues on 10:57 - Sep 4 with 4834 views | BigManBlue | I really can't imagine who was ever eating at these places. Terrible food, and not even cheap! I doubt there's a town in the country where you couldn't find somewhere local (ie non-chain) to have a half decent slap up meal at a much lower price, so yeah, no shock really.

Chain restaurant decline continues on 11:13 - Sep 4 with 4805 views | Swansea_Blue | It's the highlight of Swansea, which in fairness says more about Swansea than it does F&B. Although there's a new kid on the block in Denny's, which really is poor. It's all rubbish.

Think the UK still does pretty well in terms of independently-run restaurants as opposed to the proliferation of chains in the US. But that's not saying much. And isn't Denny's the one which just serves warm ham/beef rolls? Not sure I'd leave the house for that!

The Taco Bell is awful in Nottingham. At least the one in America is really cheap for what you get. Here it's expensive and bland.

You're thinking of Arby's, Denny's is the back drop for atleast half of the videos featuring a scrap and an over excitable bloke, usually holding the camera, repeadly and melodically chiming "World Star" over and over. American breakfast... nuff said ... almost LOL ... got it

Weirdly thought that about Tavernetta, tho I did get it to takeaway. Nice little restaurant.

Chain restaurant decline continues on 14:12 - Sep 4 with 4670 views | monytowbray | Frankie & Benny's is basically an overpriced Spoons pretending to have Italian heritage. Not helped by the fact their menu is spread too thin. Always said they'd be better doing one thing really well (think Nandos and Peri Peri or Pizza Express and err, Pizza) rather than sub par takes on stuff you can get better elsewhere. I mean, who the f*ck goes to F&B for a fry up? I think Chimichanga will go next, the prices there for a p1ss poor take on Tex Mex are insan.e

Chain restaurant decline continues on 14:16 - Sep 4 with 4660 views | itfcjoe | I don't know how all of these survive - they are usually in prime bits of real estate, next to 5 or 6 other eateries and all offering big discounts on Sunday to Thursday, and usually empty those days too. I think there will be loads more going soon, as eating habits change to healthier and veggie/vegans increase in numbers for moral reasons. A shame as jobs will go, but they don't add much

I don't think they are that bad - but very much at the McD end of the market. I had one in Chelmsford and was decent enough and not over priced. i think Sheepy had something to do with them
