The Who, Wembley Stadium, Saturday 13:00 - Jul 3 with 2323 views | itfcjoe | Anyone going? Managed to pick up a couple of free tickets from Sky VIP competition - think it should be a good gig as never seen them before and one of the greats.... Chances of getting across to Liverpool Street for last train to Ipswich? Or drive and park close by? Any advice from regular concert goers appreciated....

The ticket says the concert finishes at 22:30 which i think gives an hour to get out and across London

Probably best to drive if you don't plan on leaving until after as they'll hold people up at the tube.

Loughton is good also. It’s a little further but don’t have to pay LEZ charge (if applicable). Was surprised how cheap it was to park there all day and overnight.

Tube app saying quickest time back to Liverpool Street is 40 mins, and that’s at this time of day! They should have later trains back to Ipswich on the weekend, maybe midnight could be the last one.

The Who, Wembley Stadium, Saturday on 13:42 - Jul 3 with 2182 views | mrbungle150 | Pre book your parking at Stratford International Car Park (its a 5 minute walk from the stratford train station): https://stratfordintl.co.uk/parking Then you only need to get the Jubille line from Stratford straight to Wembley. Coming home is a doddle as its straight down the A12.

I always do this for gigs in London. I am going on Saturday. If you have never seen them before you are in for a treat. One of the good things about being old is that I also got to see them when Keith and John were still alive.

Is that much difference to just using the car park at Westfield which isn't that expensive at weekends?

No different but there is no worry over late trains. I live at Bury so the last bit has to be by road anyway. Time just doesn't matter although I will admit the drive back is a bit tedious.
The Who, Wembley Stadium, Saturday on 23:18 - Jul 3 with 1836 views | north_stand77 | Went to see Fleetwood Mac at Wembley a couple of weeks back and parked in the red car park at Wembley stadium. If you can , park in the open air bit for a quicker getaway rather than the multi storey part but used it a few times and it's been pretty good.
