My cousin went to the recent Camb/Pboro match and was amazed by the amount of pissed/coked up Posh contingent looking for aggro. Despite this being a derby, a fair chunk of talk was about the visit of Ipswich and how they were going to ‘defend’ certain drinking establishments. Yawn. |  |

There was trouble at the station when we played there in 2019, although that wasn't all involving Town and Peterborough fans. |  |

Posh fan here - the Peacock is pretty much across the road from the ground (next to KFC) my advice would probably be to go to Charters which is only a little further up the road and has plenty of real ales and is away fan friendly plus you have the indoor area as well as a large outdoor beer garden | | | |

Posh fan here I drink in the Peacock pre match and will be tomorrow, it does allow away fans in there used to be an unwritten rule of away fans in the right side bar, Posh fans in the left but this season it seems to be a free for all, it is only over the road from the ground (next to KFC) but I would personally recommend Charters which is not much further away and is a lot bigger and they have more real ales than you can shake a stick at, this also accommodates home & away fans, the other option slightly further afield is the the Drapers Arms which is a Wetherspoons not far from railway station | | | |
