Tea and coffee 13:39 - Jan 19 with 1765 views | Sharkey | On a popular football podcast, I heard one presenter mocking the other because he regularly drinks both tea and coffee. Evidently this is freakish, and normal people drink one or the other. But I think just about everyone I know drinks both. (At home at least, I guess most buy only coffee when out and about.) Are we really freaks? [Post edited 19 Jan 2023 13:41]

Tea and coffee on 14:14 - Jan 19 with 1658 views | GeoffSentence | Perfectly normal. Leastways if I am perfectly normal. I like coffee, but I can't drink much of it before I prefer the refreshing savour f a nice cuppa tea. Edit. I should add that the civilised approach is morning coffee, afternoon tea. Tea and coffee on 14:24 - Jan 19 with 1616 views | DJR | Coffee at home, tea outside, because I think it's very difficult to get a decent coffee outside as I like a long, very strong coffee with just a dash of milk. A pot of tea is also good outside if you're meeting someone because it lasts longer. [Post edited 19 Jan 2023 14:27]

Tea and coffee on 15:21 - Jan 19 with 1462 views | GunnsAirkick | I like both too, agree it seems pretty common. Coffee morning up to lunchtime (as it does give me a bit of a buzz) then tea afternoon and evening (though I have a cut-off for black tea early evening and move to more la-di-da teas like peppermint or green so I can sleep). Will have a coffee every now and then if someone offers but never make it at home, in fact we don't have coffee in the house. Only really drink tea and water.

Tea and coffee on 22:22 - Jan 19 with 1167 views | Churchman | I love tea. Always have, always will. My default hot drink. Not the flavoured rubbish. Proper breakfast tea. Coffee? Not so keen, but I’ll drink it, as I did after a nosebag out the other day. Abroad, forget tea. It’s awful, so coffee becomes the default there. Hot chocolate? Love it. Ovaltine: anyone remember that? I don’t remember it being too bad but something that was: Camp Coffee. Jeez!
Tea and coffee on 00:15 - Jan 20 with 1067 views | Oldsmoker | I've read all the posts and I have one word - Phillistines. First thing is a cup of tea - shut up 'cos I don't want to hear your nonsense. Then it's a coffee at elevenish. It's not elevenses - that's posh talk and none of you are posh. After your evening meal it's a cuppa tea to settle and help your stomach. You can drink what you like between 11:30am and 6:30pm.

Tea and coffee on 10:55 - Jan 20 with 834 views | greyhound | Shocked at no mention for bovril here. Does anyone still drink Horlicks. Is it even still sold... Smell of that malty stuff turns my stomach. Since getting one of those pod coffee machines I drink way more hot chocolate and coffee, tea (in particular lapsang souchong) is a clear win however.
