#Breaking Comedian Sean Lock, best known for panel shows 8 Out Of 10 Cats and 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, as well as sitcom 15 Storeys High, has died from cancer at the age of 58, his agent told the PA news agency pic.twitter.com/BB6hIa8atp
That is shocking news. I really liked him and his humour, went to see him at the Regent a couple of years ago and he was hilarious. Will be sadly missed and 8 Out Of 10 Cats will never be the same now.
That’s dreadful news, really was fantastic on 8 out of 10 cats. Carrot in the box, rectum of the year etc appealed to my childish sense of humour. RIP.
I had no idea he was unwell, this is such a shock. Hilarious man that I have some really fond memories of laughing hysterically at with friends. That really is sad.
"Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."
15 Storeys is an excellent show, worth watching if any boyos find the time
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
That is a shock. I had no idea he was unwell. A very funny guy. Seen him a few times and he was so good. I also once bumped into him once with my son at the museum of childhood in Bethnal Green, and he was happy to have a bit of a chat while the kids were playing.

He has talked before about having cancer in the past. I think he developed skin cancer after being a builder for years.

He did, beat it first time around and it was that which made him try comedy full time. I didn't know he was ill again, very sad. Tremendously funny man.
