Not a big watcher of panel shows but always thought he was better than most.

Christ, he was a wonderfully funny character and came across as a really nice fellow. The good die young, and this is quite shocking indeed.

He had been suffering with recurring skin cancer since the early 1990s apparently that re-emerged last year.

Still very much a shock.

OMG that is terrible news and such a shock. I've seen him a couple of times and am a huge fan. Tragic.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

That is shocking news. I really liked him and his humour, went to see him at the Regent a couple of years ago and he was hilarious. Will be sadly missed and 8 Out Of 10 Cats will never be the same now.

RIP Sean.

That’s dreadful news, really was fantastic on 8 out of 10 cats. Carrot in the box, rectum of the year etc appealed to my childish sense of humour. RIP.

I had no idea he was unwell, this is such a shock. Hilarious man that I have some really fond memories of laughing hysterically at with friends. That really is sad.

Thats awful news. Love his humour and delivery. Gutted.

I must admit, he did seem to be aging rapidly/look different when I saw his most recent appearance on 8 out of 10 etc, had no idea of an illness.

Big loss. RIP Funny Guy....

That is a shock. I had no idea he was unwell. A very funny guy. Seen him a few times and he was so good. I also once bumped into him once with my son at the museum of childhood in Bethnal Green, and he was happy to have a bit of a chat while the kids were playing.

RIP

Very funny guy.
Just watched those clips posted on the thread and been chuckling away.
A very good stand up comedian too.

RIP.

He has talked before about having cancer in the past. I think he developed skin cancer after being a builder for years.

He did, beat it first time around and it was that which made him try comedy full time. I didn't know he was ill again, very sad. Tremendously funny man.

Genuinely cut up about this. He was a brilliant comedian and a gentlemen. 15 Storeys High has to be one of the most underrated sitcoms ever made.
