If there was another referendum: 19:58 - Jan 15 with 41882 viewsThe_Romford_Blue

Would you vote:
- The same as before - Leave
- The same as before - Remain
- Differently - Leave
- Differently - Remain

I think I’d vote differently - To remain.

It’s frankly a shambles. And I voted leave without knowing. I should never have been trusted to vote on something the general public knows not enough about.

So it's the same as the last one, which means you are just re-running them until you get the result you want.

What's the remain deal in this situation?

Remain but lose all rebates and opt outs
Remain as we were
Remain with the minor concessions promised to Cameron

Same again - Remain. I'd also look to commit widespread voter fraud to see this through.

No idea. It was just a question.

An impossible question to answer without knowing the options to vote for. If another referendum comes, I predict itwill be more involved than Leave/Remain.

At this stage I think I should admit that all this is my fault because I did not vote at all in the referendum.
I was on holiday and although I could have had a postal vote I did not bother because I was unsure which way to vote anyway.

Perhaps if there is another referendum I will be on holiday again.

This response is getting tiresome.

Making decisions on partial information has never ended well in human history.

It's a policy of folly.

With May’s deal now surely abolished, what would the new option be? A new deal? Would the EU budge from their stance?

It’s a colossal mess isn’t it?

I've been totally convinced by the Leave campaign since the vote, so I'd change from Remain to Leave.

Remain, as before. I haven't changed my mind, even while I acknowlege that a majority thought otherwise.

May's deal is dead in parliament - The only two ways it can go through is if May attempts to put it through anyway, or the public say to do so.

Why would we voluntarily surrender our rebates and opt-outs? Also who is proposing we do so?

No one. I'm just asking for full info in Romford's hypothetical situation. We should know exactly what we are voting for on both sides, correct?

Remain as before with the pound, veto and rebate.

The EU legal advice has said we can do this at any time by revoking article 50.

There is no majority in the commons for a second referendum.

The house will eventually vote for a Norway style deal.

Tiresome but true. Any referendum relies on partial information. That's why you should never have them. But now we have, we should really stick to it or risk serious damage to civil order and a parliamentary crisis

You're saying we stick to a decision made by people with partial information but it would be a bad idea to ask the same question again but with full information?
