- Michele Donelan (current Sciences Minister) - had to pay out (well actually us as taxpayer had to pay) for her to settle her case when she accused an academic of being pro-Hamas and another of sharing extremist views.
- Baroness Jacqueline Foster (Tory Peer) - had to pay out "substantial damages" to a student on university challenge after baselessly accusing her of spreading antisemitism because she had an octopus as their mascot.
- Laurence Fox (Racist) - has had his case dismissed after someone called him a racist and ended up paying some of the defendants legal fees. a Twitter user called Fox a racist, doubled down on it, Fox has tried to sue him, but has given up and paid out to the twitter user.

My Hirst was broken My Hirst was broken Sorrow, sorrow Sorrow, sorrow
My Hirst was broken My Hirst was broken You signed Kief, you played him He scored them and saved us
My tears are drying My tears are drying Thank you, thank you Thanks you, thank you
My tears are drying My tears are drying Your footballing genius Will get us promoted
While I'm worth My seat by this turf I will follow you While the Kief Gets crosses from Leif I'll thank him For his work For this team It's our team
Honestly got distracted from work and saw someone make a sunshine on Leif pun and now I've written a whole bloody (awful) ode to McKenna and his genius.
I should be ashamed, but this team is too special right now.
but it's 3 points and we're up to 3rd. We are back ahead of Southampton and effectively 1 point off 2nd.
McKenna will need to drill down into just why we played so bad, in particular how we lost our shape so badly. If it's fitness then he needs to find the right balance because we've got 5 games in 18 days before we get an international break.
However we will go into Saturday knowing that a win will either take us back into the top 2, or bring us within 6 points of Leicester who at one point were miles away. Buzzing for Saturday. This season is gonna go to the wire.
He can't help but foul every time he's going for the ball today. It's not so bad giving them away in the middle of the park, but we can't afford giving up cheap free kicks in dangerous positions with a team as big as Rotherham.
Morsy, Davis and Hirst are the 3 positions where we don't have a like for like replacement of anywhere near their quality. Morsy back NYD is good news, hopefully Davis is not far behind and really hope a replacement/cover for Hirst can be found ASAP.
Everything crossed that Davis' injury is not too severe, although based on his second half performance, Humphreys could maybe grow into the role?
Ipswich - Away at Leeds - Home vs Leicester - Home vs QPR - Away at Stoke
Leeds - Home vs Us - Away at Preston - Away at West Brom - Home vs Birmingham
Leicester - Home vs Rotherham - Away to Us - Away to Cardiff - Home vs Huddersfield
Huge 9 days which could define the season for some teams. We have the toughest opponents with Leeds probably in the middle, Leicester meanwhile have the nicest set of opponents. After these games, we'll only have 20 games left for the run in till the end of the year.
Leeds game is massive. It won't set anything in stone, but if we can get a result there of any kind, we take away their biggest chance to overhaul the points differential. Either way it's going to be a crazy stressful/exciting Christmas period!
Really need to cut these poor starts out. We've been fortunate to be able to get back into games previously, but we've pushed our luck too many times.
West Brom were probably going to be miserly no matter what today, but we had no way through them for huge swathes of the game as they didn't leave gaps and overstretch and played a very smart press. They didn't need to (and as a result didn't) take any risks, which is a benefit of being given a quick lead.
I'm certain McKenna will be looking back and trying to work out the remedy to West Brom setup, because Broadhead and Chaplin were non-existent for most of the game as they were squeezed between a tight midfield and a high line. Burns and Davis at least got in behind and got the ball into the box in the first half, but only on a handful of occasions. It's the most comprehensively we've been shut down offensively since he took charge, not helped by gifting goals.
At least I'm still sure we can do a number on Millwall and Coventry.
A Nazi coming to give a speech to other Nazis? Come right on in.
Suella Braverman has some explaining to do. Last weekend a notorious Spanish neo-nazi, Isabel Peralta, was allowed into the UK to speak at a nazi gathering in Preston. She is banned from entering Germany because of her extreme views. She was detained at Manchester airport ... pic.twitter.com/lWaDzB48eO
Apparently Antoinette Sandbach doesn't like that academic research named her as a descendent of a slaver and is threatening legal action against the university for naming her.
I hope this act of attempted censorship doesn't make it front page news on the BBC website and their current most read story!
A real estate friend of mine just drew my attention to an area in North Dallas which appears to be named after EFL clubs, and now all I want in life is to live on Port Vale Drive pic.twitter.com/NUORwM530e
I have seen there are often posts mentioning the anniversary of D-day when it comes around and thought this might be of interest to people on here.
Youtube channel that has covered WW1 and WW2 in realtime weekly episodes is having a special 24hr coverage of D-Day (starting at 11pm tonight). Literally doing 24 hours of documentary to track the landings as they occur. They will be releasing it in smaller chunks later on (because I ain't watching for 24 hours straight!) but thought it would be of interest to some history buffs on here.
