There will be good player in him in 2 years I reckon. He's got the game but in a better team where he doesn't need to try and do too much. Stupid f ING corner [Post edited 23 Nov 2018 21:20]

Exactly this. He's a tremendous athlete and has so much potential. Very rough round the edges. Very difficult in our team to make an impression. He will be an excellent player but he's a couple of years away. Similar stage in his career as Maitland Niles.

He needs to improve his passing though. He gives the ball away far too much.

Chalobah on 21:50 - Nov 23 with 6252 views | LankHenners | He's just as likely to create a chance with a good pass or run as he is to put us under pressure with a hospital ball. This season will be a great learning experience for him but might not help us out too much.

Chalobah on 21:59 - Nov 23 with 6167 views | WestSussexBlue | I was slated by many on here for calling this immediately after the first game against Blackburn, he’s as erratic now as he was then and I’d happily release him back in January.
Chalobah on 21:59 - Nov 23 with 6159 views | Vaughan8 | Loses the ball way too much and doesn't like to track back. Therefore my co cousin is, he is OK going forward, where he can afford to lose the ball a bit, but is a liability/pathetic as a defensive midfielder. Not sure how he was ever considered to play centre back. He might be better in a good team but in our puss poor one, he looks not very good.

Downes had a great game! I'm not sure why people rate chalobah, he tried a bit of flair, but it doesn't work.

Chalobah on 22:01 - Nov 23 with 6125 views | FrimleyBlue | I see a lot of people are saying he did well.. But.. he stood and watched them score the second goal. And I can't remember anyone tonight giving the ball away more than him.

Downes didn't have a look in during the second half. Chalobah gets attention for his mistakes because he puts himself about and shows for the ball. I'd rather he played like that than went missing for 90 minutes like Nolan.

No I'm not as 90% of possible attacks broke down as he gave the ball away inside his own half.

Chalobah on 22:18 - Nov 23 with 5973 views | GluedtoBlue | He's clearly a good player. He'll go on to be much better than most we've had here in recent times BUT because we have zero chance of signing him I'd happily see an Ipswich player in our team. He's one of them who could win us a game out of nothing, but could equally lose us the game. Be surprised if he isn't a premier league player at some point in not too distant future though.
