Anyone think there's chance of a return next season?. Feels like a long time since he's made any impact in the premiership (injuries accepted), even that is at the lower end of the table with palace/sunderland.

I have been wondering the same thing maybe even Mings too?

Wickham has played ok when he's been fit and selected in the Prem.

Plus his wages will be 4 or 5 times the amount we would run to.

but the parent club pays a significant chunk of the wages so loan club gets them fit and on form. Otherwise we couldn't afford the loans we have had

Fraser / Lawrence / Celina are on no where near Wickham's wage though - so if it were to happen for Connor or Mings, Palace / Bournemouth would need to cover likely over 50% a pop.

Rhodes on loan may have more legs - he'll definitely be leaving Sheff Weds in the summer and with their increasing financial issues a cheeky loan bid with a low %%% may go down better than you might think.

As said above, wages may be a stumbling block also the new manager will undoubtably have his own targets.
Wickham & Mings have turned out very injury prone as well.

I can't recall ever hearing his name mentioned this season. Who is he even playing for now?

Yep, wages. He'll be focusing on getting fit and playing in the PL. No chance he'll be back here unless a short loan to gain fitness.

So, if rumours are correct, we could see Rhodes and Wickham reunited here at Town!

Have you seen Jordan play lately? He makes Stern John look mobile!

I suspect/hope (just a hunch) that rumours are most definitely not true.

He’s not recovered after ducking out of that penalty shootout last season that Wednesday ended up losing. It did not go down well with fans and they’ve been on his back a bit since.
