I am 79 and I have been suffering from stress, so after Monday night my wife and I will decamp to our allotment. I will take the phone with me but it will be more relaxing talking to my beans and potatoes! |

Good to hear from you. If you remember us old ones had a lovely evening way back recalling the fifties and amazes the younger ones with the fact that in those days quite a few had season tickets at both Portman Road and Carrow Road. And I will never forget your half blind uncle who used to take you to Norwich in his car and had to be told the result on the way back. As a result of that it seemed that I was even older than you so it lovely to have some educated posts from time to time.
By the way Bury Town are doing well now under Skuse aren't they. |

Yes I was at Filbert Street for that one, the most enthralling no score draw after extra time you will ever see. The only time that leeds defence showed any panic was when Beattie decided to try his luck upfield.
We were knackered after that one, and with a young Wark in at central defender due to injuries, thought the mighty Leeds would be too much two days later. |

I must admit I was not impressed by the appointment, it looked Hobsons choice. But I did join the chants at the Man U match, then he went and bought Allan Hunter, Ron Gray pleaded with him, and the rest is history. |

The Anglia reports are very balanced and fair unlike the other side.
Yes they did mention the 14 year gap but also emphasised we are21 points ahead with a very good chance of promotion. |
