You had read it right, we have kids, but my friends who have divorced didn’t have kids. Sorry, it was my writing. I’ve even wondered how people knew my name until I realised I signed it off with my name!!! Head is fried!!! |

Hi all, Everything is bittersweet for me at the moment, the greatest time to be a Town fan in 20 plus years has been tainted by my wife deciding to end our marriage. So this being quite an alien concept having come somewhat out of the blue, I have no idea what I’m doing. The advice I’m getting is about 30 years out of date or from people who’s circumstances were different (no kids), so where better to get advice than football forum that is full of wisdom it seems. Does anyone here have experiences to share (understand it’s a sensitive subject) or local solicitors they can recommend etc? Thanks Craig |

Do they not go in to the South, having been promoted from the Southern Central Premier? They restructured step 3 a while ago because sides were fed up going from the Isthmian to the National North and introduced a 4th league. |

Am I right in thinking that Leicester have had financial controversy over their last 2 promotions from this league? Last one they were on the brink of being barred from playing in the EFL due to the dispute only to stay up, win the prem and paid a fine off instead because the EFL gave up. Time before that, didn’t they go in to admin just as a take over was happening so all creditors were paid pence in the pound, and romped the league, that case prompted the 10 point deduction for going in to administration. Not sure it really matters but just seems to be they have scant regard to financial rules and seem to get away with it time & again. |

Thanks for the messages, I’ve contacted Lee Smith, didn’t realise there was so much info on the club website to be fair, but wasn’t sure if we would still be able to get help because the tickets aren’t disabled tickets. |

After a bit of advice please. My mum has tickets in the SBR suite for Tuesday, she suffers from MND and struggles to walk distances. She’s got a blue badge and is planning on parking in Portman Road car park, but the entrance is now through where Staples used to be and I’m concerned that she won’t be able to walk that far to get round. Does anyone know if there is disabled parking closer than the Portman Road car park or if they would open the gate on Portman Road to allow access that way? Another option is whether the club have disabled parking too, but assume they don’t due to the high demand. Before I get the Gatwick answers, she has to be there at 17.00, so will be too early for the shuttle busses from there. |

Beach with penguins I think is Boulders Beach, there was a centre which I think you had to pay to get in, but if you walked past that, along the path, there were a load of penguins which were nesting. I was sat on a bench and one literally popped up by my feet from a little hole. |

Would suggest walking up Table Mountain from the Botanical Gardens, a lovely walk and a pub is at the top (with cable car to get down) Stellenbosch is a good wine regions with lots of vineyards. Calamari at a shack in Hout Bay was the first time I tried it, and is still the best I’ve ever had. It is 16 years since I went, so all of this could be out of date. |

Kind of offended autocorrect did me like that, but also Gergen wasn’t obvious enough for it to be initially recognised as an autocorrect error for Gerken!!! |

We signed Gergen from them at the same time as Skuse I think, also didn’t we swap JET for Paul Anderson around that time, or was it the year after? |

Surely this is missing any context? How other people make money IS none of my business, however players not only selected to represent the country I support playing football and given the captain’s armband surely is? On top of that, this is a player who campaigned for LGBTQ+ rights and built a reputation on that campaigning, only to take payment from a nation that actively quashes those rights & punishes it by death. Imagine being a member of the LGBTQ+ football community, feeling empowered by his campaigning, only for him to effectively rip that from under you with that move. Never mind the. Having him captain your national team. |

Seedings are done very early in the WC cycle, but I’m not sure much can be done to mitigate from good or bad. The other side of it is that the world rankings from now will probably affect the next WC draw, so Scotland will likely be second seeds and could end up with a plumb draw. As someone has mentioned, to win a WC you have to beat the top sides at some point, whether that’s at QF/SF/Final. |

On the other side of that coin, 2 of those sides were promoted and another finished in the top 6. The other point to highlight is they have played 2 more games than us and only The Blunts have more points than us. Never mind the context of Reading having a points deduction and QPR losing their manager which pulled them down to the bottom of the league. |
| Forum Reply | Who still thinks Wes isn't up to this level? at 01:39 17 Sep 2023
Assume you were named because you seem to have an irrational dislike of our Wes, despite the record of scoring 20 goals and having 17 assists in our previous 2 seasons which he played 79 games predominantly at RW/RWB. |

It’s more to do with his exit, forced through a cheap move to Leicester by moving to their Belgian affiliate when his contract ran out so they only got about £80,000 where as I think they were trying to get 10 times that from Leics. |

Social media is the tip of the iceberg though, if the information makes its way there, what other information is coming out of the club? Go back to the days where we had Charlie Austin & Shaun Derry in the building & still lost out on them, other clubs will have been alerted to them being here & made a move. Where that information came is what Ashton is trying to plug to avoid a repeat. I find it laughable that you want information, at any cost. |
