Has anybody else purchased train tickets and planned on going via Leeds?
Me and a group (stupidly I know) have gone and bought tickets whilst they were mega cheap, despite knowing Northern Rail were striking. However, we did assume they would throw on some form of alternative transport from Leeds to Accrington. Apparently not.
50+ miles from Leeds to Accrington, wondering if anybody else is in the same boat and come up with any plans on how to get to and fro.
Anybody know anywhere in New York Times Square area that will be showing our game on Friday? - Managed to persuade the Mrs’ to get up early doors for Black Friday and hopefully be worn out by 3ish time over here! (And out of pocket).
Im visiting New York next month and the dates coincide with ThanksGiving whilst we’re out there. I was wondering if anybody had any tips or recommendations on places to eat to have the full ThanksGiving traditional dinner.
Also, other than watch the parade if there’s any other things to do on ThanksGiving.
I’m still very confused as to how he is deemed “too expensive” for us. He’s just been promoted from League 2, it’s not like we’re talking about Guardiola.
Was my first choice from day 1, I think I read that he had signed a new deal; but still, surely the prospect of managing in a division higher for a team with all the perks we have would be tempting.
Took a few people in corporate today, sat below the Villa fans. I have to say with all the bickering and arguing today, I’m so proud of our fans today. I’m a season ticket holder in SBRL and even sitting below their fans, throughout the whole game all we could hear was Ipswich. 4-0 down and our fans singing their hearts out, the Villa fans we were with have just left us stating how impressed they are with our fans for getting behind the boys despite the score line.
Even when Folami knocked the ball out of play by a heavy touch, you could see the whole of the SBR stand get to their feet and applaud his effort for trying to beat a man and be positive thinking.
Despite all the bickering, disagreements; I’m such a proud Ipswich fan going home this evening.
Off to Tallinn next week, and going to get the ferry across to Helsinki as part of the same trip. - Haven’t done any research at all; any recommendations of things to do whilst out there or mainly places to drink?
Will be missing our game v Wednesday but wondered if anybody knows any places I could catch a sight of it out there (Tallinn) as it’s on Sky?
