Ironic, isn't it. Elite level? Yes. Sh!te in virtually every other way? Deffo. Never liked all the Sky TV teenage w@nkfest rubbish, falling over, VAR, buying players instead of bringing them through, bellends yelling "Shooootttt!", silly KO times etc, but it's still the top level and where we should be, but dammit I can't enjoy PL as much for so many reasons, mostly pertaining to being an old git who remembers the real Division 1. Bah. |

Well said. This is probably the most considered and well-balanced summary I've seen in several days; congratulations, Jayess. This should be an automatically-placed response to every BS bedwetting panic post we get over the next (Jesus!) two months. |

I started out thinking he was a d!ck but by the end thought it was great fun and I'd love to see him do a night of stand up - well, sway, probably. |

On the SWITFC WhatsApp group we were reminiscing about low attendance games and I remembered scraping a grim1-0 under Mick at Huish Park 10 years 2 months ago in front of less than 6K fans. Horrible game but the BBC report makes interesting reading, especially the lineups... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/26428524 PS: if you're in the greater South West, our WhatsApp group is close to 300. I got a bit excited when I saw him sitting near Tyrone Mings and started thinking he'sd be a good captain after Sam started to wind down. Then realised he's 31 and his injury record is poor. A shame. |

Amazing isn't it. And after a quick look at the PL table, there isn't a team outside the top 8 (7 depending on if Ten Hag keeps his job) that I'd be genuinely worried about. Considering how long ago it is we were beaten by Cheltenham it's a mad world. |

It's a shame about Gary Gl*tter (well obvs) because the intro to Leader Of The Gang would have been perfect. Cameron, Cameron, Cameron Cameron (etc) BURGESS! Bloody pop star nonces :-( [Post edited 11 May 17:09]
