I’d say there’s only two. No team outside the big 6/7 is really safe from relegation. All
It takes is a combination of a bad start, a few injuries, and the odd bit of bad luck, and I think every team outside the top clubs is vulnerable. |

I did, absolutely nothing. Said hello. He is limping btw. Was very proud of my son for saying he had no interest in meeting him, especially when all the Norwich supporting kids in his class were having kittens. |

Does anyone know
a) what was the lowest league position we dropped to? I think 3rd but perhaps it was 4th?
b) what was the maximum amount we were behind Leeds by, in terms of points?

Sargent and his wife and kid live in the same small posh village as my son goes to school. He’s also incredibly nice, and sometimes comes to the playground where they all play football after school and gets a bit mobbed. |

If you could bottle and sell knowledge of how promoted sides will get on in the Premiership you’d be a billionaire quite quickly. So I’d take any reply claiming to be certain, with a bucket of salt
That said, I do have faith that McKenna is;
a) clever enough to make a pretty good guess at the above,
b) not wedded to a specific formation/style of play. And
c) will be given the backing, support, and freedom to act on his intentions.
And the combination of those three, whilst not being guaranteed to be enough to keep us in the Prem, puts us in good stead. Likely more than Norwich’s manager for example/ |

More than normal. Is anyone else the same?
I don’t know if it’s a case of not wanting this season to end, or because after a few months of stress/hope/expectation, I can finally watch Championship games with zero of those feelings. Or maybe it’s because Norwich have a 75-% chance of losing and I just want to see them cry on the TV?

I think Norwich fans are looking for any angle they can get at the moment, to be fair. They can’t criticise our current crowds so the only option is to criticise historic attendances. Slim pickings if you ask me.
However I do think it’s something that we should be aware of when deciding how much money to put aside for stadium investment. I’m sure that right now we’d fill a 40k stadium every week in the Prem, but there’s no guarantee it will always be like that. |

I too had not really set foot in Christchurch Park before, it’s actually pretty lovely. And as you say very well attended, a sea of blue.
I don’t think the singsongs were that great though, it works a lot less well outside of a stadium. |

I think parachute payments are a chunk less if we only manage a single season in the Prem, so there’s that. But I do get what you mean. |
