a) what was the lowest league position we dropped to? I think 3rd but perhaps it was 4th?
b) what was the maximum amount we were behind Leeds by, in terms of points?

Neil Thompson’s free kick against Portsmouth I think? I have in my head that he made it 3-2, but might have been 2-1. He had a decent left peg on him. Did Taricco take his place in the team or am I mixing eras? |

More than normal. Is anyone else the same?
I don’t know if it’s a case of not wanting this season to end, or because after a few months of stress/hope/expectation, I can finally watch Championship games with zero of those feelings. Or maybe it’s because Norwich have a 75-% chance of losing and I just want to see them cry on the TV?

Conceding an early goal for example, which may or may not be accompanied by Leeds scoring (I don’t think they’ll win btw). I honestly think my psyche is slightly marked by the late 1990s playoffs. Always feeling so close but not quite there. I fully admit it is pessimistic thinking, and last seasons final home match 6-0 win at PR is a far better indicator of whether this squad has the mentality to get over the line than how a bunch of long retired players performed a quarter of a century ago.

I’m a little nervous about tonight. And the weekend actually. I might be wrong but I feel like we need 6 points from those two, otherwise it’s advantage Leeds/Leicester.
I know I shouldn’t think like this- we’ve seen both of our rivals slip up recently, and there’s no reason they won’t do it again*. But I feel we need to go into the Hull and Coventry games being happy with a point in each. Don’t want to be chasing the game.
* I actually can’t see Leeds having many bad days between now and the end of the season. But Leicester look shaky as fcuk and you can make an argument for them losing any of their next 4. |

I’m about to demonstrate my lack of electrical know-how, and probably basic intelligence.
I’ve just moved into a new house. The living room has two cables that look to me like standard aerial cables. I believe they are called coaxial cables. They are coming into the house from a dish attached outside, so maybe not your standard aerial cable after all. I’ve tried connecting each one to the aerial input on my tv. I’ve tried both cables, and I’ve tried it on two different TVs, so I don’t think my TV is the problem. I just get a ‘no signal’ error each time. What am I doing wrong? How can I find out if the dish itself is faulty? And why do I have two cables, where would I attach the other one given my TV has only one inlet that fits.

About January strengthening.
Who would you pick if you had to list 1 (or more) regular starters that are our weakest players?
So I’d probably pick Harry Clarke. I love the guy but if he’s included in our first 11 I’d say he’s probably the weakest from that 11? What do you all think? This is not about whether a player is good enough for the Championship, and it’s certainly not an attempt to knock HC. But even prime Barcelona had a weakest player. I’m really asking only about the 12-13 players who could be considered genuinely regular starters.

If you received a reply after making a (10k below asking price) offer on a property saying
“Due to the property only being significantly reduced, we have got more viewings booked in to view the property over the coming week.
The vendors have asked if you would come up closer to the guide price and they will cancel the viewings that are booked in and market the property as sold.“
What chances they are being genuine? What chances this is just what all agents say. After all, why wouldn’t you? |

Where's a good place to park on the street if I'm heading back north up the A12 afterwards. I don't mind a bit of a walk to/from the ground (in fact I welcome it), especially if it means less time in a traffic jam.
I got what looked to be the last available ticket in the lower North, now getting the pre-match heebie-jeebies. COYB!! |
