Bad news for Salford City. on 16:49 - Oct 12 with 1926 views | Oldsmoker | You sort of want to warn Salford but as the owners are ex-Manure I'm thinking that if they don't already know of the health warning then it's their own fault.

LOL no. I'd almost rather Lambert stayed than Hoofer Cowley. /edit - also, top self awareness here for wanting Danny The Lumper whilst also going 'boooo Mick'. [Post edited 12 Oct 2020 20:10]

I can't believe any club would be stupid enough to fall for that.

As amusing as Keane there would have been I suspect Scholes will not be any better. The money has pretty much taken them as far as that level of investment is likely to take them. Now it would take an effective business model, highly effective tactics or further investment beyond what I would expect the Class of 92 to put in. And you will still get Scholes' ex-team mates having to call him in to give him the bad news at some point. Although they may be happier to do that than to Keane.

They're half owned by Peter Lim, the billionaire who also owns Valencia. They've definitely got enough money to bankroll a push to the Championship at least, should he so wish.

I didn't realise that. Will be interesting how they get around the salary cap if they make it to this level.
