I can forgive the Prem one given what he took over, but to repeat the trick in the Championship with us, and then this season is impossible to gloss over or dismiss.
He barracked the players when he came, then sent us down without a fight. You can see now they're not playing for him. We've got in yet another manager who seems to think he is above them, and can't row back that because the damage has long set in.

You have to push it further back, things didn't suddenly take a turn for the worse in 2007. Before that we had Prem overreach, new stands and the collapse of ITV Digital leaving us in the Administration which necessitated the sale to Evans. All of which happened at a time when football finances were beginning to change rapidly, unrecogniseable from a decade before. |  |

If these stats were brought to his attention, I guess PL would point out a win per centage of 8, 8 and 10 in those previous leagues has been lifted to a commendable 20% in his most recent 20 game run. ME must have seen this leap in success rate when drawing up the extended 5year contract. |  | | |
