He’s getting a lot out of that Gills squad

He’d do better than what Lambert is for us.

He certainly is. They should have got a point against us at their place with that glaring miss in the first half too.

Are we at rock bottom yet? (n/t) on 18:59 - Feb 22 with 4194 views | RobTheMonk | I went into the day resigned the the fact that we probably would lose this game. Struggling to find the motivation to care because there's been nothing to care about. It's looking likely we'll not go up so realistically we lose Downes. Wolf and potentially Dobra and Dozzell. So we bring all these players with great potential and then sell them off only to reinvest the bare minimum into a squad with a manager who seems to struggle. That's an attack on football in general as well. There's just no way for teams to hold on to their better players when bigger clubs buy up any potential young talent - throw enough poo and it will stick somewhere. That doesn't excuse the fact that we've massively crapped the bed since December.
Are we at rock bottom yet? (n/t) on 19:54 - Feb 22 with 4098 views | billlm | Getting there, supported since 71, sucker punch at half time, but everyone knew that was it, it's along time not sure how much More I have in the tank
Are we at rock bottom yet? (n/t) on 19:58 - Feb 22 with 4065 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Time will tell. If we think of it as mid-table League 1 it can't get worse than that can it? At least it isn't the end of the season and we could still make the play-offs and, who knows, we might not even utterly embarrass ourselves in them if we do.

Are we at rock bottom yet? (n/t) on 20:00 - Feb 22 with 4058 views | JDB23 | Oh it can get much worse. Imagine where we would be this season without our lucky start and missing Downes, Woolf and Garbutt, because that will be the situation next year. You think ME is going to invest in the squad when FFP will be even tighter and we’ll have less revenue through ticket sales?
Are we at rock bottom yet? (n/t) on 20:20 - Feb 22 with 3977 views | J2BLUE | Rock bottom? We aren't even close. Wait until we sell Downes and Woolf for peanuts in the summer. ST renewals sent out with the usual bluster. "Funds from sales will be reinvested". Those two players go. We'll be linked with the cream of league one. Then we'll sign a Bulgarian trialist who has immense pedigree as he scored three goals for the youth team of Polish third division side Elana Toruń in 2003 and once said hello to Berbatov's cousin on a weekend trip to Veliko.

Still can’t say he’s punching above his weight though. Would need to win the champions league for that.
Are we at rock bottom yet? (n/t) on 20:26 - Feb 22 with 3947 views | runaround | For a club the size of ITFC this should be the lowest of the low yet I fear we still have further to fall

Are we at rock bottom yet? (n/t) on 21:00 - Feb 22 with 3796 views | pennblue | Until Evan's goes, we will continue to decline. He is not prepared to invest heavily and the mediocre players we can afford can't handle the pressure the fans put on the team. That leaves only 2 routes of this: 1) We sink so low, there eventually is no expectation 2) Evans leaves and we someone comes in, to start sticking some serious cash in.

Financially we're stuffed. Last summer we had the windfalls from the sell-ons but we won't have those again. Then there's the ffp rules, not sure of the details but I think we're only able to spend a percentage of our revenue on wages. If we don't go up I can't see a scenario where Lambert stays.
