He was probably the best outfield player in a lackluster game, I mean who else created anything from either side? Turned the screw at times, forced us into challenges we didn't want make.

Actually thought CCV was our best player. Bart made one really good save down low to his right but the rest were quite routine I’d say - certainly think we’d have been disappointed had the free kicks gone in given how down the middle of the goal they were. The two saves from the free kicks were fairly routine. The shots were pretty central, but the one from Oliveira was top drawer. As most recognise Maddison stood out in the second half, and, unfortunately we were reduced to crude fouls to stop him. Scum just did not turn up in the first half. They really aren't any better than us, and if we had been able to play a couple of our creative players we would have taken them. | | | |

Scum's plan A seems to be to keep the ball at a slow tempo until they can get it to Maddison in a dangerous area. When that doesn't work they resort to plan B, which is just get the ball to Maddison anywhere and hope for the best. He was anonymous first half as we kept tight to him and pressed them high, second half we struggled a bit more as Norwich went more direct (not so much in terms of hitting it long, just trying to get forward quicker) and they were able to get the ball to Maddison who was very clever at buying free kicks. He didn't look especially creative thought, he's nippy and has a decent shot on him but he looks a Poundland Tom Lawrence to me and will be gone in the summer. Take him out of their side and they have nothing really. I can see why he got MoM as everything went through him for them and they did boss the second half, but nobody particularly stood out in what wasn't a particularly good game between two mid table sides. |  |

Eadie made me laugh at half time "all three were dives" (in reference to penalty calls for us) they go to Garner being fouled and sky bloke says "this one wasn't a dive"
"No it wasn't" says Darren before they spend the rest of the segment talking about what a bunch of cheats we are.
No mention of Klose fouling every time he went for the ball and not winning a single challenge, no mention of Maddison slipping over in his own hairgel etc.
To be fair once they let Johnno get a word in he made some very decent points. |  |

The only good save Bart made was from Oliveria for me - all of the others you'd expect any Championship keeper to have made. That's not to say he didn't play well, but wasn't like the game their last year where he made some stunning saves | |

Thought it was funny when they sang "He's just too good for you" as in reality, he is far too good for them too based on their performances this season.

The different views are interesting. Don't get me wrong, Maddison looks quality...but all they did was give it to him constantly second half and in the end it took an error and a cross from another player for them to score. His job is to create/score goals...if he does neither, I can't see how a MOTM is justified. Bartz job is to keep shots out which he did throughout...until the 95th minute...potentially it was his poor decision at end which has cost him the MOTM award.
