Morsy*

Bakinson and Thompson were McKenna signings.

Edwards and Harper especially were not signed by Cook. By Ashton instead. In the case of Edwards, we had Jacobs at Portman Road ready to sign but owners/CEO thought otherwise.

Those two been poor signings.

Morsy, Chaplin and Walton only signed because of Cook. Ashton got away scot free with that poor summer window.

You missed Evans, although easy to forget as he's been injured for most of his time here and also on the way out.

It was scattergun as fk that Summer, a pretty poor success rate despite a lot of money spent, Fraser and Piggot are two of the worst signings of the whole banter era.

And we still see people saying trust his signings.

Why?

He's had some good. But he's had more bad than good.

No wonder he wants the media quiet when it comes to signings.

I heard that Ashton is so in denial about Burns being a bad signing he insists that KM plays him as often as possible.

Why would anyone give a crap why or how we signed Chaplin, Morsy and Walton? We're just glad we did, aren't we?

There's some strange takes on this thread considering the core of our side features here. Let's not forget we were mid table in lg1 when these signings were made

Huge hits
Hladky
Walton
Burgess
Chaplin
Burns
Morsy

Hits
Fridge
Celina

Middling
Aluko
Edwards
Bonne
Coulson until injury

Misses
Harper
Carroll
Penny
Pigott
Fraser
Barry

Doesn't feel too shabby to me

Odd to call out Fraser as one of the worst signings of the recent past.

He hardly played and we sold him FOR A PROFIT the very next window….

Stylistically both he and Piggott were odd given the system we were religiously playing as neither really fitted into any of the positions of Cooks 4231 or the style of play..

12 league goals for a loanee isn't an awful return. I think to say that the loan was a disaster for us would be a ridiculous thing to say

Well considering he scored 1 in 30 games after the start he had then yeah it's a miss rather than a hit.

Sold for a profit. But we'd have spent a fair bit on wages for a player who didn't play... you'd say we basically broke even wouldn't you?
