2. Think both were as a sub, not sure.

Not defensive enough for our Mick I don’t think. Right decision to send him

Seems to be in addition to Edun. Suspect this means one of Sears or Ward will be shipped out.....Edun coming in to compete for left back mainly ,,,,,Knudsen sale or Kenlock out on loan?

Loan window doesn’t close until the end of the month, so once we have the players in, Hurst can decide who goes out on loan later.

Yes. In one game, possibly Huddersfield, he controlled of ball dead in the right back area and kept it when we were running down time. Nothing much else but that was class.

I've liked the sound of him in his career after us. Wonder how much he'd cost permanently.

Well I just don't get it just looked to see how many games he has played and it seems hardly any so we might as well give Rowe a chance IMO.

If Mick and Paul both didn't use him, it might just be he isn't deemed ready to get regular footy here. I honestly thing Rowe may end up going the way of Digby and that other player out wide who I always forget the name of- both looked good to the fans, but didnt cut the mustard to the ones who select them.

He did two exceptional jobs for us.
I would say he is the only person to have man marked Cruyff out of a game and score an F.A. Cup winning goal-in fact there are probably not many people that ever man marked Cruyff out of a game.

Osborne is a player I love watching on old tapes that my grandad had. My grandad was town crazy, I mean by todays standard you would probably call him a super fan. He had recordings of news snippets, cam corder footage, match of the day, all sorts. I am currently working, albeit slowly, on transfering those VHS tapes to digital media- though every time I sit down to do it, i end up watching the bleeding things for hours instead of copy them.

I love the quote from him that if he had not scored the winning goal he would be the player that everyone forgot if they were asked to name the F.A. Cup winning team.
I think that is very true.

He made a total of 149 appearances for us but is mostly remembered for just two of them.

I have mentioned it on here before but behind me at the moment I have a framed photograph of Mick Mills,John Wark,my son, myself,Kevin Beattie and Roger Osborne along with the F.A.Cup.It was taken at a 30 year celebration thing at the Corn Exchange and is one of my proudest possessions.
