Six wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats sounds reasonable.
That would rule Soton out of top 2 (unless one of the defeats is against them) as they would need a minimum of 8 wins from 11 and they have all the top 3 to play.
If Leicester struggle in the next few games upto the FA Cup game v Chelsea, I can see them dropping to 3rd, if that happens I think they'll stay there, with us and Leeds up.

If you look at the first games this season against the remaining 11 opponents that we have , then we got 9;wins 2 draws and no defeats from those matches.

Think it's got to be 8 wins really, or the equivalent win/draw combo to take us to 97 points (though I guess 6 wins and 4 draws does that). Going to be another season where someone's going to miss out with a mid-90s points total.
And as Lucan points out Leicester and Leeds effectively have an extra point on us due to their far superior goal difference.
Think we should back ourselves to win every home game remaining and at least 2 of the aways. That may well be enough. |  |

It's so hard to call how many wins we'll need and how many points it'll take, which is why the one game at a time mantra really is the best approach. It served us so well last season and seems to be working nicely for us right now. Keep aiming to win every game, focus on that, and if the results keep flowing we'll be there or thereabouts. That said, I think it's going to take more than 93 points to go up this year so we need to just pick up as many points as we can. |  |
