I think the deadline is the end of the regular season but any suspension would include playoff games. So if Morsy picked up his 15th yellow in the last game of the season he would miss all three playoff games.

I don't know the answer but it makes perfect sense for suspensions to carry into the playoffs. Equally, makes perfect sense for yellow cards to reset at the beginning of them for all players not suspended.
He'll do very well to avoid 15 given the rate at which he's currently accumulating (sadly!). | | | |

I suppose, other than picking up a maximum of two bookings between now and the end of May, the best bet is to get booked against Plymouth, Bristol City and Cardiff? Miss Wednesday, Blackburn and Southampton but return for Norwich and the remainder of a tough April.

It's going to be a real tightrope avoiding 3 bookings in 12 games but not impossible.
Unfortunately some of those bookings in the past have been avoidable (eg..kicking the ball away at Boro) and that's the frustration because now he's going to pay for it.
We desperately need Morsy in the run-in if we're to maintain our automatic promotion push.
But if we tail away come April, he'd be better off getting the ban and being available for the playoffs. | | | |
